Hi! when I try to import my games from Steam it doesn't work. The error text that appears is:

ID xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx found, unable to read games data.

I don't know if you need the ID, or if it is a private thing from my steam profile.
The name of my steam profile is
https://steamcommunity.com/id/tastein
If it's necesary, please tell me and I will add it.

Thanks!

Did you do anything specific because for me today, I get "ID 76561198013217917 found, unable to read games data." ?

Has anyone any idea of what I could do differently? I suppose it is coming from an incompatibility between the latest Steam interface and HowLongToBeat servers. Any chance to get an update?

Your games on your Steam profile don't appear to be public - they need to be for HLTB to import the data =)

Oh my bad, I really thought they were! Only my profile was public but the games were shared with contacts only.
I changed the setting and it seems to work fine.

Thank you very much for the support!

Edit: Ok it worked for a couple of hours and now I get the same message again. Maybe there is a timeout on Steam's side and I made too many requests to populate my collections here. I will retry later.

Steam's API is also very temperamental - so if it decides not to work then often you just gotta wait a while and try later. It's especially bad during high traffic times like during big sales.

Anyone figure this out? My games are public, still having this issue.

As mentioned above this often happens during major Steam sales. You'll have to try again later as it does appear your profile is set up correctly for import.
