Do you folks remember this thread from a couple of years ago? Yeah, I decided to double check how AI is doing nowadays with all the recent fuzz. Couldn't resist and paid ChatGPT premium for a month.
I tried to generate comics themed by video-game franchises (a bit challenging because GPT tries to avoid copyrighted stuff). You can see the results below.
The thing works so well that I not only asked for the captions and the images, but I also asked for a bash command (Linux) to convert the webp images to png and reduce the size of them, and also to generate the BBCode to post it here, and it nailed everything on the first try using very simple language.

not sure if this is on topic but i'm of the opinion that any type of ai is bad, especially in art. i could see how it can generate ideas and whatnot but when people replicate other's authentic art by using ai, that's just weird and i'm not sure why it's so common and accepted

Yeah I have Stable Diffusion installed on my machine now so I can generate local images.
This one was from Bing's chatbot. I had a dream about hiding from a man-eating bus. I asked it to create a scary, pink, fleshy man-eating bus and this is what it came up with. This is scarily accurate to my dream!
