Im going to (have to) do more sports.

I'd like to keep track of what I did when ("did x sets of exercise y on Monday", etc). I hope that this will help me keep at it, like logging games on HLTB or books on Goodreads helps me with gaming/reading.

Does anyone have a recommendation for such a website/app? Thanks!

I use the Fitbit app to track all that stuff - but it also talks to my Fitbit so that helps - although I think you can use it without a device... maybe...

I've used the generic Google Fit app before and My Fitness Pal and they are both viable as well. Just depends on what you're needing in particular. I think if I didn't use the Fitbit app, I'd probably stick with the Google one (there's probably an apple equivalent as well I suppose).

I used Fitbit for a long time but recently moved to a Garmin watch.

Garmin's connect app is great if you use a wearable.

I also really enjoyed the gamified experience that Fitocracy gave back in the day, but I'm not sure what the experience is like now. You used to get XP for tracking exercises and leveled up; it had achievements and challenges.

Thanks for your suggestions! :)

I don't have a wearable/device.

I think I'm going to try the Google one first. My Fitness Pal does seem to have many features I'm not interested in (creating a diet, scanning/logging nutritional information) and I can't find Fitocracy on the Google Play Store.

Another recommendation I would say is to use your phone. Because your phone can track your steps!

Thanks again for the recommendations.

I tried some apps, including Fitbit, but couldn't find any that I really like. They all had a different focus, offered many features that I don't care for while lacking in other regards. I've now started to use strengthlevel.com and that seems to cover 95% of what I am looking for. There's no app, just the website. It tracks sets of weightlifting/bodybuilding exercises. The only downside (that I've seen so far) is that cardio exercises are not pre-defined but you can create custom exercises.

Just wanted to conclude this thread and maybe this is helpful for someone else.
