What's up with your avatar?

Mine is from PSN, pretty much the only one that I liked out of the predetermined choices. Oh, and of course, it's just a monkey from the game Ape Escape.

What's up with yours?

I'm a little weird, the various avatars I use on social media sites tends to be of western cartoon superhero villains like Darkseid from Superman TAS on Youtube and my Blog, Green Goblin from Spider-Man TAS on Steam, Ultron from Avengers EMH on Discord or Apocalypse from X-Men TAS on Facebook and Instagram. But I've been toning down on superhero media as of late even though I still like the above mentioned characters. My Twitter avatars randomly change I used to be Gin Rummy from Boondocks but now I'm Radec from Killzone 2 as of now. I had a bunch western cartoon villains before that like Skeletor, Cobra Commander, and the Shredder since I tend to like the modern versions of those characters.

On MyAnimeList, I'm Sam Fisher as a joke because I'm trying to sneak around on that site without being noticed by anime fans while posting my opinions on various anime on that site. I pretty much do that on every site now since I'm trying to say things without mobs attacking me and I also think getting into internet arguments just isn't worth it anymore since things go nowhere fast. That and well getting attacked by internet mobs is about as fun as babysitting children except the children there are smug.

Anyways, enough rambling, I chose the Up Your Aresenal cover as my avatar from Ratchet and Clank since R&C is my favorite game series of all time because I enjoy every game in the franchise including the spinoffs. I would chose Doomguy or a 90s FPS protagonist but the former has Doom 3 which I don't like that much and 90s FPS game franchises don't tend to last long or have as consistent of a track record as R&C does. Also, it represents my personality since on HLTB I tend to be louder on there than any other place on the internet and Ratchet tends to be really loud with all the guns he uses

Mine is a Dragonborn character I created in Solasta to represent the main character of my story for what I hope to be a series of games called Paladin named Troumash Evergrace. Of course, it would be much easier to create this character in BG3, but considering BG3 didn't come out at the time I got Solasta, I just had to create it my own. Kind of sucky that this Dragonborn race isn't even part of the main game and you have to pay a couple bucks for a DLC with multiple other things to even have the ability to create one. I'm seriously hoping with Solasta 2 they'll learn from this mistake and put every single race and class without having to pay extra in the sequel because before BG3 so many unique and amazing D&D races were left out of the spotlight not just Dragonborn but I'm so glad it feels like we're getting so much love for these guys, because they were always background fodder in books and video games.

I actually changed mine a few days ago after having the Metroid Prime 3 Samus thumbs up for over a year. Metroid Prime 1 is one of my favorite games of all time and I absolutely love the Metroid series as a whole. I was rewatching the Metroid Prime 4 trailer and I thought this shot from it looked really cool so I made it my PFP. So basically I really like Metroid and Samus, not much of a deep backstory to it for me lol.

I've had the GCTuba username on basically every site since high school (15-20 years ago). I stumbled upon the Photoshop Battles subreddit and there was a picture of some guy holding a flute like a sword and parts of a tuba like medieval armor. I scrolled through the posts until I came across this one in the style of D&D and loved it. It'd be cool to commission someone to redraw it with more of a video game focus so I have more "ownership" over it.

The Curse of Monkey Island was one of the first games I played with my older sisters when I was very little. I love the saga and it's one of the reasons why I love video games.

As for mine, it's Grey Prince Zote from Hollow Knight tripping and falling. I might change it someday since it was meant to be a joke, but ^ that applies to this too :]

Mine is Travis, the phantom of a killer killed on the job from the game Killer 7. The image is taken from the first encounter you have with him just 5 minutes into the game. He wears a top with different words on it in every dialogue, I find the first one "BAD GIRL" to be hilarious.

I had it since I played Killer 7 last year. Before I had a wonderful surprised Nu from Chrono Trigger.

In middle school I wanted my avatar to be a gif, but I also wanted to make one for myself. I also don't have good art skills

It's actually an OC of mine from the furry fandom. The background is that the person who designed Australian furry mascots for the Tokyo Olympics was a guest speaker at a local convention, and they stuck around afterwards to do table sketches of peoples' OCs.

I normally use memes or pics from games I like as my avatar, but I really like this art so thought I may as well show it somewhere.
