Since I found Ninja Gaiden 4 is only going to be on Windows, Xbox SX and PS5 I think its time to branch myself out from only Nintendo, but at what point could you justify getting a new console? I have about 10 games in mind I can finally play and another three on the way (including NG4), but it still doesn't feel right.

I mainly use PC for emulation and Playstation and Switch every once and a while. I'm pretty much safe, play PC for older games(all though anything not emulation is too much of a hassle), play PS5 for modern and indie games and Switch for the Nintendo 1st party games and the occasional indie or port of an older game not on Playstation.
I never needed to buy an Xbox like ever since eventually all the games came to PC and the fact that the remaining 360 exclusives were streamable on the XCloud through Game Pass pretty much sealed the deal.
It's esstentially a choice between PC and Playstation, Xbox is pretty much irrelevant. The former if you don't mind constantly needing to troubleshoot but you can mess around and get more out of a game or Playstation where your options are more limited but way less troubleshooting by comparison.
All though honestly, I'm not sure if I want a PS6 anymore, if there is no Ratchet and Clank game on it then I don't care. I did bash Xbox, I will admit that back when Halo was still a top dog franchise, Sony did have to work harder with their 1st party games but Halo is so washed up now that it's pretty much coming to Playstation and even Nintendo lmao.
You never know, maybe Ninja Gaiden 4 will come to Switch 2 after the launch of the PS5, Series X and PC versions.

I primarily play on PC, and I haven't gotten any console this generation since most of the games seem like they're coming to PC now, from both xbox and ps.
I'll always say that if you've already got a nintendo console, all you really need is a PC. But if you've gotta get another console, I'd probably recommend going with a ps4 or ps5. The PS4 because it's library of games is damn impressive, the ps5 because it'll run the ps4 games better 😭(sure, there are also the 10-20 ps5 exclusives, but yeah :/)
Games are also overall cheaper with a PC + also, regular freebies.
I'm not sure I get the "doesn't feel right" thing though. If it's coz you wanna stick to nintendo, that's that. Otherwise, if you think you can afford it and you also want to get it, go ahead.

get another console if and when you can afford it and feel like trying something different
everyone will give you different opinions on what's better or worse but at the end of the day - have a look at the games and see what you prefer. I play primarily on PC, but also have a Xbox Series S and a PS5, which satisfy my console needs. PC isn't complicated unless you make it complicated (eg pirating software and emulating old stuff)... and if you're deciding between Xbox/Playstation I'd have a gander at the actual exclusives and see which ones interest you more... easy as that IMO.
