With Persona 5 being the latest GotM I'll liking putting this game on the back burner... for some time so here's my last notes before I went on holiday:
Just more of the side quests. Dealing with thirsty atm but also got the loot in the road end. Level 44
Finished thirstys quests and the kill the prisoners quest. Finished the third round of the arena. Level 44
So did the last repeat of the final level and now just got one round left in the arena. Might try the raid boss as well. Level 44

Right back to Borderlands and finished the 3rd DLC already. The General Knoxx one. I only had one round left to do in the arena anyway decided to skip the raid boss mainly due to distance away. This is currently my fav DLC of borderlands and it gets the notes of what a borderlands game is with a great villian for the whole DLC playing a rather exasperated business man like character. It also gave me half life 2 coast level vibes with the use of the buggie to get around. It's biggest issue though was the constant back tracking which was the worst in this DLC.
I was also able to start the fourth and final DLC the claptrap revolution. Not far in just basically been contacted by hyperion to deal with the issue. Not a great start tbh as it throws you into a junkyard with a ton of bandits so rather dull level there.

So bit further in the claptrap revolution
Switched on the power plant now off to destroy the claptrap factory
So this dlc has the same issues as Dr ned. Too dark and very grindy side quests

So destroyed the claptrap factory and received the WIRED. Will need to activate it now
Lot of the side quests make you go back to areas you've already done. Can't see why these side missions couldn't be done during the main quest but they don't pop until after that area has been done in the main quest

and that's borderlands now completed. The robot revolution was very similar imo to Doctor ned. Both had the same issue with an annoying side quests which wastes your time. Ultimately I can see why borderlands got popular but borderlands defiently has not aged well

Borderlands: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC
Completion January 24, 2023
Main+Extras 12h 2m 53s
Notes Everything excluding raid boss
Review
General Knoxx is defiantly the best DLC of the borderlands. It feels like a homage to the coast line level in Half life 2 where the buggy has a big part of the level being used to get between the areas and it works extremly well. It is also helped by General Knoxx being a stand out villain as playing more of a jaded buisness man sick and tired of the incomptence of the company and the nepotism throughout. The DLC however has some big issues as it relies far too much on backtracking and the side quests are extremely lacklustre in what it wants you to do.

Borderlands: Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution
Completion January 27, 2023
Main+Extras 5h 4m 36s
Notes All quests excluding the claptrap parts
Review
Claptrap DLC is very similar to Doctor Ned’s. It gets the humour relatively well but overall the DLC feels rather lacklustre with some rather dull side quests involving collecting large amount of items dropped by the claptraps (at least this is picked up early in the DLC) and dark areas which makes it hard to see the enemies as they much into the rather brown backdrops. It has some interesting bosses but also does repeat other DLC bosses.

Ok series but just used Sam to complete it all.

I could never get into this series, too much grinding just to tackle the main quests. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has some pretty good weapon feedback but the previously mentioned issues prevents me from enjoying it. The game has an easy mode but it's pretty much a red herring since you will still need to grind anyway.

Completed the first one and all the DLC and really loved it. Will get onto the second one shortly.
