Happy New Year!

I'm brand new here, having originally signed up only to figure out how to attack my ridiculous Steam backlog and gauge which games are most realistic to complete when I'm in periods of low commitment etc.

This week, I decided to take a genuine crack at sorting through my library and figuring stuff out, and I realized that I'm maybe way too fixated on 100% achievements -- if I move the definition of "done" to just "did I get to the credits, did I have fun, and am I done with it", I can probably cross it off the backlog and move on to something else unless I feel really compelled to keep playing. Scrolling through the ambitious lists above really solidified that, too. Excited to see how many of you make your goals.

As for what I'll be playing in 2025, I'm still not sure at this point. I'm currently spitting distance from done the True Ending of Persona 4G after putting it off for years; the twist got spoiled for me because for some reason the steam community seems to think it's funny to spoil it in the guides & discussion pages for every other SMT game, and it killed my desire to play the game for the longest time.

I'm also currently playing Atlas Fallen. It's been a neat distraction and I think I'll at least finish it. I'm also dipping my toes in Marvel Rivals since everyone I know (OK like, 3 people) has been badgering me to play it with them.

Beyond that, I guess it depends on what my new hyperfixation becomes. 2025 will probably be a weird year struggling with killing my obsession with the 100%, but hopefully one of discovery too.
