And I'm done. I ended up beating it faster than the average time. My thoughts on it did not change on it over the last two hours, and I still think this is like a 6/10. I don't understand why so many people say this is an underrated gem, what am I missing?

People think differently from you, it's that simple. People think Uncharted series, Mass Effect 2, Grand Theft Auto series, Zelda series, Sleeping Dogs and the Metal Gear Solid games especially 1-3 are masterpieces, I don't see it but people look for different things in games than I do. I saw one review of Jedi Outcast on this site and he thought the game wasn't that good and didn't even touch the dueling mechanics, once again, I disagreed with him and thought the review wasn't very good, but he's just looking for different things in games than I do.
There are those who play games for character designs and stories, I don't but plenty do.
Even with media I don't like or don't like that much they always manage to find an audience for reasons that I probably don't care about. People love to go on and about Witcher 3 and it's side quests but once again, I don't think it makes the game's weak combat any better. Baldur's Gate 3 gets a crapload of acclaim for the "choices" you make and how the game can radically change but I don't give a shit so I won't play the game knowing that's the reason it gets praised for.
