Hello there!
I've been seeing a lot of other users' blogs and their backlog battles since I've joined this site. In which, I've decided to also create my own thread in order to keep track of my progress and what games I have accomplished. But before that, I will have a short introduction on how I sort my games and my personal tastes in gaming. I am the kind of person who is open to a lot of different genres and has at least tried all of them. But of course, my favorite genre still lies in Survival Horror games. I also like JRPGs, Action, Open-world RPGs, Rhythm, and Narrative games. I sometimes fully 100% complete games that I really like, but most of the time, I just finish the main story (+ a little bit of side content).
I've been playing games at a young age and have used various consoles in order to play games. I used to have an SNES, Gameboy Advance, PsP, Ps Vita, Ps3, Ps4. But now, I primarily have a PC, a Steam Deck, and a Nintendo Switch (I emulate retro and older gen games).
I won't be covering the games I have completed or played prior to this post. Also, I will provide thoughts on the games I have made progress to and will try my best to update it on a weekly basis. I will also separate my Playing category into multiplayer games, my Gacha routine games, and games I currently am trying to finish.
December 2022
(Week of December 3 - 9)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - PC - 10/10 - 112.6 hrs - Main Story + DLC

Source: My own screenshot :)
- This game is amazing. I first started playing it during the start of the pandemic in 2020, and have only decided to finish it now. Completing a long game may seem daunting, especially an open-world game full of content, but in the end it was worth it.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 675.9 hrs - (playing with friends, usually at night, levelling battlepass)
- New season this week, new map, new operator, and Ubisoft broke the servers as expected...
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II / Warzone 2 - PC - 69 hrs - (playing with friends, levelling battlepass)
- I often play quickmatch to level up my weapons fast (usually on Kill Confirmed mode). I gave up on Warzone, too many tryhards lol
Genshin Impact - PC - 653 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)
- I like playing this game and collecting playable characters. I also like levelling them up and farming for materials. I usually have a routine of what I do in this game, and with the new update, they added a TCG mode that I was eager to try. This is sort of my chill game.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 62.3 hrs - (dailies, events)
- I don't spend that much time in this game than Genshin Impact, I usually just spend 15 minutes a day to collect materials, and consume the game's energy. Also, new update dropped this week featuring a new playable.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 70.9 hrs - (dailies, events)
- New update also dropped this week featuring a Christmas event and characters. I play this just like every other gacha games in a sort of routine.
Guitar Hero 2 - Playstation 2 - 2.5 hrs - Main Story
- Halfway through the songs, nostalgia hits hard since I used to play this back when I was a kid.
Bomberman 2 - Nintendo DS - 50 mins - Main Story
- I find this game intriguing, so I decided to try and finish it since it's short. Made it through the first 20 levels.
Demon's Souls - Playstation 3 - 4 hrs - Main Story
- Since I have played other From Software's games, why not try their first souls like genre? Well this game does not treat me kindly. I have managed to defeat Phalanx and Tower Knight, which is a good progress.
Dehumanized - PC - 5/10 - 2.6 hrs
- This game is like the Binding of Isaac but unfinished. I will not try to finish this game.
Judas - PC
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon - PC
The Lords of the Fallen - PC
Blue Protocol - PC
Returnal - PC
The Last of Us Part I - PC
Scars Above - PC
-TGA 2022 games I look forward to. Also, congrats Elden Ring GOTY 2022.
Games completed this week: 1 + DLC

I sort my games in 6 parts:
- Playing (Games that I am currently playing and enjoying)
- Backlog (Games that I already own and will be completing)
- Replays (Games that I have completed before) (2nd playthrough completion)
- Up Next (Games from my backlog that I will be playing next)
- Wishlist (Games that I want to buy or eyeing for)
- Retired (Games I have tried / didn't finish / or a Multiplayer game that I'm done with)[/S]
- Completed (Games I have completed either going for 100% or Main Story only)
I won't be covering the games I have completed or played prior to this post. Also, I will provide thoughts on the games I have made progress to and will try my best to update it on a weekly basis. I will also separate my Playing category into multiplayer games, my Gacha routine games, and games I currently am trying to finish.
Update 1/30/2023: I have removed my 'Played' custom list and transferred my games under that list towards 'Retired' instead. Since, they're basically the same thing in many ways. I have also added an 'Up Next' list in order to choose the game that I will be playing after I complete my current game.
Update 03/06/2023: I have updated some of my posts and I will try my best to write more insights about the games that I will be completing (In terms of what I have liked and disliked). Feel free to correct my grammar errors, as well as provide suggestions on how I can make my blog better. Also, I am open to game recommendations.
Update: Steam Deck completions are marked as Linux in my list to separate them from the game completed on my desktop.

Hello, BoiGh0sT! Demon's Souls was my first souls' game. I played it this year when I got my ps5. I'm very curious about the ps3 version. I hope the Maiden in Black is treating you kindly.

Thanks for checking out my blog. I really wish to buy a Ps5 but the price is still too expensive in my country. Demon's Souls in Ps3 is harder than the remake since it only has a four direction rolling system. I've watched some gameplay of the remake and it definitely looks improved, both graphics and gameplay.

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a nice day. It is time for another update on the games that I've played for this week. I am also planning to have an end of the year update to look back on some of my favorite games that I've played this year, so look forward to it. And also my time zone is in UTC +8 in case you're wondering. (I also added some pictures for the games)
December 2022
(Week of December 10 - 16)
Guitar Hero 2 - Playstation 2 - 9/10 - 4.6 hrs - Career mode + Bonus tracks

Source: IGN
- This game is still amazing up to this day. The tracks are nostalgic, especially the gameplay which takes me back to my childhood. I went through the game faster than I expected, clearing songs one after another. I just wish I could find a real guitar controller since I played this game with a dualshock. I've emulated this game using PCSX2 and it ran smoothly.
Metal Slug 4 - Playstation 2 - 8/10 - 50 mins - Main Story

Source: Nintendo Life
- This game is a 2D run and gun arcade shooter. Metal Slug has been one of my favorite arcade games series and I've been willing to finish them all. The 4th game in this series is definitely challenging and quite short compared to others. It is not my favorite Metal Slug but it was fun, and I enjoyed every mission to the fullest (Even though I died more than I could ever count).
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion - PC - 9 hrs - 100% playthrough

Source: My own screenshot :)
- This game finally got released 2 days ago, and I've been waiting since the announcement to play it. This game is the remaster of the PsP exclusive Crisis Core with enhanced graphics and improved gameplay. I'm currently in chapter 4 where Zack met Aerith in the Sector 5 Church. I can't wait to finish this game, and I also might put my other games on hold.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger - PC - 4.3 hrs - Main Story

Source: My own screenshot :)
- This game is like an arcade shooter FPS made by Techland (Dying Light devs). I really don't like the cinematic border to this game, it's just weird for me. This game can be quite challenging since I suck at aiming, and this game requires for you to have good accuracy. I am getting through the missions and I despise the 1v1 duels where you have to pull your gun as soon as the enemy makes a move. I hope I finish this soon.
DOOM (2016) - PC - 3 hrs - Main Story + Side Content

Source: PC Gamer
- You all know DOOM right? Well I'm playing through it, and it is definitely a one of a kind FPS game. The graphics are so good for a 2016 game, and I am loving every second of it. Can't wait to slay more demons.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 685.4 hrs - (ranked, casual, levelling bp)

Source: Ubisoft
- Another week of playing with my friends, levelling up the battle pass, and not being salty. I played rank this week and the new map is bad, I don't know why they decided that we can't ban it from the selection. Thanks Ubisoft. I'll post my own screenshot next time I get a good match :)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II / Warzone 2 - PC - 71.3 hrs - (mid season update, levelling battlepass)

Source: Sportskeeda
- I'll also post my own screenshot soon :). Anyways new update, there is a new raid mode, haven't tried it yet. I just played a few match at the new multiplayer map which is called Shipment. Shotgun is definitely good at that map and nothing else.
Genshin Impact - PC - 668.6 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)

Source: Eurogamer
- Aside from the usual routine that I do, I finally managed to finish the current main quest. This new character called "The Wanderer" appeared randomly while I was expending my wishes. He is an Anemo DPS, it's like a wind element that boosts reaction damage. I'm still in the process of building him.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 63.5 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: Siliconera
- Same routine, and I got the new character "Chrono Navi" in just about 10 pulls. There is a new event and story but I haven't touched them yet.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 90.3 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: My own screenshot :)
- I got 2 limited SSRs in a single 10 pull with a drop rate of 2%, how lucky is that? There is also another limited character that I'm trying to pull but still no luck. I've also been doing the event and usual daily routine stuff. Why is this image so huge? My bad.
Guitar Hero 5 - Playstation 2 - 30 mins

Source: Wikipedia
- Since I don't have a guitar controller, it's hard for me to strum every fret with a dualshock controller. The songs in this one are good, but sadly can't really finish it.
Soulstice - PC

Source: Soulstice
- Just got it during sale, can't wait to play it after I finish my currently playing games. I am so down for a hack n' slash genre.

Hi everyone! Happy holidays and I hope everyone is enjoying their time with their family, friends, etc.
It is that time of the week once again to update my gaming journey. And also, the year is almost at its end, which means I have to do my 'end of the year' gaming review by next week.
December 2022
(Week of December 17 - 23)
Puzzle Book - Nintendo Switch - 6/10 - 1 hr - All puzzles

Source: Nintendo
- This game is as simple as any puzzle game. Got it for free 2 years ago, I just recently installed it on my Switch and finished all puzzles before going to bed. It is quite a relaxing game, the images on the puzzles are great too.
Pocket Mini Golf - Nintendo Switch - 6/10 - 32 mins - All courses

Source: Nintendo
- A 3D mini golf game with various level designs. It can be quite boring as you play for long, and probably be best played with friends. It feels like a mobile game though to be honest, but I can't complain since I got it for free.
We Become What We Behold - Browser - 7/10 - 5 mins - Main Story

Source: Itch.io
- A short but fascinating game. This game can be finished within 5 minutes, and tells how media can often publicize and misinterpret small issues making them into much worse that can affect the whole society. This game turned dark near the end as it let you capture the destruction of both the square and round people.
Friday Night Funkin' - Browser - 8/10 - 1 hr - Main Story

Source: Itch.io
- This is a great rhythm game which lets you use either the arrow keys or wasd. It can be quite hard at the end of the week (levels) but I still managed to beat it. People are also making their own levels which is great, I've seen a lot in YouTube. Overall, I enjoyed every song of it.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion - PC - 9/10 - 40.3 hrs - 100% playthrough

Source: My own screenshot :)
- Oh boy such a great remaster. The only thing that I was not a fan of was Zack's new voice. The CG cutscenes were not updated and still look like 2007 graphics. But overall, the camera controls, materia system, and combat were improved. The character models are also great being upscaled to modern graphics, and the DMW is less annoying than before. 100% took quite some time, but I have accomplished it.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith - Playstation 2 - 2.9 hrs - Career mode

Source: Eurogamer
- Another Guitar Hero game, but this time Aerosmith classic songs. Trying to finish all tracks by next week, hopefully.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger - PC - 5.7 hrs - Main Story

Source: GoNintendo
- Half way through the game. This game really needs you to have fast reflex to dodge bullets and good accuracy to headshot enemies. The long range rifle is my favorite in clearing the enemies and fighting the boss of each level.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 699.9 hrs - (ranked, casual, levelling bp)

Source: My own screenshot :)
- The only multiplayer game I played this week. Me and my friends won through most matches as I aim to improve my k/d and accuracy. I also played with a new player I found through steam groups. I'm glad we are on the same server.
Genshin Impact - PC - 680.4 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)

Source: Siliconera
- New event this week about yokais (supernatural entities from japanese origin), and I played through it. The event has a weird umbrella yokai sword reward which I already got, don't know who to give it for though. I also did my daily routine trying to save primogems for next year's update.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 64.6 hrs - (dailies, events)
- No image for this one, since I really didn't do anything aside from the usual routine of collecting rewards, spending stamina, etc.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 90.3 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: QooApp
- I got 2 copies of Rupee (the girl on top), and I still have no luck for Anne (the girl on bottom). I hope I get her before the banner ends. Aside from that, I still do my daily routine of acquiring equipments, gems, and level up materials.
Gotham Knights - PC

Soure: Dot Esports
- Steam winter sale made me buy this game since its 50% off. I also like that batman games so I hope I enjoy it.
Trombone Champ - PC
/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/71398687/trombone_champ.0.jpeg)
Source: Polygon
- I've seen videos of this game and it always made me laugh for how goofy it is. Since it's on sale, I decided to purchase it.
Alien Isolation - PC

Source: The Verge
- I won this during a giveaway, definitely a great survival horror game from the reviews. I can't wait to play it.
Games completed this week: 5
Games on the backlog remaining: 207 (+3)

Trombone Champ is really fun!
Here's a tip: I almost retired the game on how awful it felt to play it, I thought it "wasn't for me". But then I decided to play around with the sensitivity, and a couple of tries later I was playing effortlessly and having a blast.

Just tried it and it was really fun to play, but it does take some time to get used to. The fact that you can add custom songs makes it so much better.

Final week of 2022, it's been a fun year. I am hoping for a better year this 2023 with all the brand new releases and announcements. I also do hope that I clear my backlogs as soon as possible. I will be quite busy on December 31, and will probably not play that day.
December 2022
(Week of December 24 - 30)
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger - PC - 7/10 - 10.1 hrs - Main Story + Side

Source: Game UI Database
- Here's the funny thing, after I finished the game, the credits rolled as usual. Then, the completion screen showed up where it says that I've finished the campaign on Hard difficulty. All throughout my playthrough, I was getting my ass beat without realizing that I was playing on Hard difficulty. I am both satisfied and disappointed with this completion. Overall, it's still a great game with minor bugs, just double check the game's difficulty.
Bomberman 2 - Nintendo DS - 6/10 - 3.6 hrs - Main Missions

Source: Wikipedia
- Bomberman is not really my thing, but this game made it enjoyable. Your typical zone clearing levels, added with equipment that boosts your character's stats makes it much more unique than their other games. Boss fights are not that bad, and the levels can be cleared for 2-3 minutes each depending on your skill.
Metal Slug 7 - Nintendo DS - 7/10 - 1 hr - Main Missions

Source: Wikipedia
- This is similar to Metal Slug XX, with lower graphics compared to the PsP version. You can switch guns (power ups) in this game which is nice, and overall, a decent metal slug game. This is not my favorite though.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith - Playstation 2 - 6/10 - 4.8 hrs - Career mode

Source: Wikipedia
- Fewer songs than Guitar Hero 2, since it only features some covers and mostly Aerosmith songs. The battle with Joe Perry was great though. A decent guitar hero game if you're an Aerosmith fan.
Aperture Desk Job - PC - 41 mins - Main

Source: Steam
- A steam deck testing game from valve, I still played it though without owning one. It is a fun game with good graphics. I wish they make Portal 3.
Gotham Knights - PC - 8.3 hrs - 100%

Source: My own screenshot
- I started playing this game, and I'm already loving it. Performance issues are still present despite having an RTX 3070 Ti though. I'm running the game with FPS capped at 60 to avoid game crashes. I really do hope they fix it as soon as possible. I started playing as Batgirl and then Red Hood, and I've just met Harley.
Trombone Champ - PC - 1.8 hrs - Main + Side

Source: Pitchfork
- This game is hilarious. I am enjoying this game so much that I decided to add custom songs to it. Maybe I'll make this my main rhythm game lol.
Mortal Kombat X - PC - 13.4 hrs - Main + Side

Source: Wikipedia
- Playing through the story mode. I actually finished this game on my Ps4 back in 2017, so this is technically a replay. I main Ermac back in the day.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 721.3 hrs - (ranked, casual, levelling bp)
- Played a couple matches, as usual. I'm also more than halfway through the BP.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II / Warzone 2 - PC - 72.1 hrs - (mid season update, levelling battlepass)
- A few matches of Warzone then I quit because too much tryhards in Asia server!!
Backrooms: Escape Together - PC - 1.7 hrs - Main levels

Source: Steam
- Played this game with my friends, it was fun and spooky. The 2nd level is still in beta, and it is quite good, especially the mechanic of the monster.
Genshin Impact - PC - 690.1 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)
- Usual stuff, defeated the weekly bosses, and farmed for materials. I finally got Yae Miko to Lvl 90 and I also played the Windtrace event which is like prop hunt.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 65.8 hrs - (dailies, events)
- Daily routine stuff, nothing special.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 116.1 hrs - (dailies, events)
- Daily routine stuff, farmed for materials in the event. Can't wait for the new character on January 1.
Overwatch 2 - PC - 7/10 - 10 hrs

Source: Forbes
- I don't like what happened to Overwatch. Locked heroes in battle pass system, broken heroes, gameplay changes, etc. I prefer the old one where I spent a lot of my time playing. I'm quitting Overwatch for good.
RoboLife-Days with Aino - PC

Source: GameFabrique
- My friend gifted this to me. Definitely not a SFW game lol.
Games completed this week: 5
Games on the backlog remaining: 206 (-1)

Happy New Year everyone!
2022 has been a great year for me and I've been grateful for it. A lot of things have happened in 2022, such as me participating in forums, writing a blog, and tracking my games on this site. I created my account back in 2021, but I just started logging my games on the site during the second half of 2022. I also started to engage more and have fun reading other people's game preferences, opinions, and other things. I look forward to using this site for years to come. And I am hoping for a better year in 2023.
Since I have played a lot of games during 2022, I will post my top 15 game completions of the year in no particular order. I will also state my most and least favorite completion of the year. There will also be 3 games for honorable mentions who did not make it in my top 15.
All images are also from my own screenshots.
2022 My Top 15 Games
~ 15 ~
God of War (2018) - PC - 10/10 - 48.2 hrs - 100%
- This game surprised me, since I played all prior God of War games, I never expected it to become something far greater in terms of combat, story, exploration, etc. This game is just fantastic and it deserves a spot on my list. This game also won the GOTY award during the TGA 2018. I can't wait to play the sequel but I don't have a Ps5, so I guess I'll just play other games first.
~ 14 ~
Elden Ring - PC - 10/10 - 152.7 hrs - 100% - (MOST FAVORITE)
- Of course, the game that made me good at souls-like games. I actually did play Dark Souls 3 back in the day, but I raged quit because of the invaders. When Elden Ring released, I decided to try it since there was a lot of hype surrounding it. And little did you know, I got pulled into this game and decided to fully complete it. I played this game for months and keep on discovering new things which is great, since I love exploring. The lore in this game is so deep which also got me interested, and compared to other From Software's games, this one is the most awarding.
~ 13 ~
Cyberpunk 2077 - PC - 7/10 - 135.5 hrs - 100%
- I do have a love and hate relationship with this game. There was so much bug at the release of the game, that's why I waited for patches until I decided to finish it. I also preordered this game which I shouldn't have since it got delayed multiple times. Night City is a fun place to explore, it is atmospheric and pleasing to the eye. I was also in love with the characters in this game, and the story was not that bad. I enjoyed every activity it has to offer and gameplay, despite of its flaws.
~ 12 ~
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - PC - 9/10 - 60.7 hrs - 100%
- I played a lot of souls-like games this year, from Elden Ring to Nioh but this one is different. This game thought me how to parry unlike in Elden Ring where I usually just roll around and block. This is also the hardest souls-like game I've ever finished 100%. I completed all endings, defeated all bosses, and max all upgrades. And when I thought a New Game+ playthrough will be easier, I was still getting beaten up fairly by the bosses. The gameplay is also smooth and fast-paced unlike previous From Software titles. Definitely a worthy GOTY title during TGA 2019.
~ 11 ~
No More Heroes III - PC - 9/10 - 25 hrs - Main + Side
- A Suda51 game. No More Heroes III brought back the open world (kinda..) exploration and fun minigames as you try to save your planet from aliens. And to do that, Travis Touchdown needs to climb up the ranks in order to beat them all. This game is definitely better than the 2nd game in the series, and the space battle were quite nice.
~ 10 ~
Final Fantasy VII Remake - PC - 10/10 - 80 hrs - 100%
- A remake well done. The revamped gameplay, graphics, and overall quality makes this game great. Is it worth 70$? I don't know since I bought it at 33% off. Many people who have played the original didn't like the changes in the story. For me, I'll just wait and see what they do in the part 2 of the game before I decide if the changes in the story is good or not.
~ 9 ~
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - PC - 10/10 - 115 hrs - Main + Side
- Glad I finished this game before their broken next gen update got released. This game is the best open-world RPG there is to offer for me. It has tons of side activities like contracts, side quests, Gwent, etc. The characters in this game are amazing, and of course you play as Geralt of Rivia. I also like Ciri and how you can play as her in some of the main quest. Overall, a great experience for me, and I can't wait for the new title in the series.
~ 8 ~
Marvel's Spider-man: GOTY edition - PC - 9/10 - 71 hrs - Main + Side
- Spider-man is such a great game, and with this remaster, they even enhanced the graphics more. The story is great, and the side activities where you defeat criminals or save civilians makes you feel like a real superhero. I just enjoy swinging my way around New York, and the fact that there are so much suits to choose from makes it even better. I am also in love with Felicia Hardy and her DLC. I can't wait to buy the Miles Morales one and try it out.
~ 7 ~
Lost Judgment - PC - 10/10 - 79.4 hrs - Main + Side
- The sequel to the Yakuza spin-off 'Judgment'. You play as a detective named Yagami, and try to solve a bullying problem at a school and a murder incident connected to it. This game lets you roam around Kamurocho and Yokohama. There are plenty of activities to offer, you can play drone racing, arcade games, darts, mahjong, etc. You can also get drunk in a bar which increases your attack gauge power thing. You can also date someone and give her gifts. There are also side cases which include catching a pervert, beating up a gang, etc. You can also be a school club advisor where you can join the dance club, robotics, boxing, a biker gang, etc. The main story of this game is so good it can make you tear up. The DLC is also worth it, as you can play as Kaito, who is Yagami's partner.
~ 6 ~
Persona 5 Royal - PC - 10/10 - 152.7 hrs - 100%
- I played the original back in 2017 on my Ps3 which is harder to 100%. The Royal version is definitely easier, and provided more content. As a JRPG fan, this game is an amazing experience for me. I also played P4G prior to this which is my favorite Persona game, and this one is great in terms of story, art style, and combat. I really enjoyed playing this game and I can't wait for the release of P3P. (Persona 3 Portable)
~ 5 ~
Ghostwire: Tokyo - PC - 8/10 - 42 hrs - 100%
- A great horror game made by Tango Gameworks (creator of The Evil Within). An open world setting where you use this talisman power thing to cleanse spirits and defeat japanese folklore monsters. You defeat these 'yokais' such as the slit-mouthed woman, kappa, etc. I really didn't follow the story, but the atmosphere, and combat is great. It can be spooky sometimes. Also, there are dogs / cats in this game and you can pet them.
~ 4 ~
Marvel's Guardian of the Galaxy - PC - 9/10 - 25.5 hrs - 100%
- An amazing singleplayer game, despite being linear, I enjoyed it. Made by Eidos-Montreal, the one who also made the failure of a live service game 'The Avengers'. But this one is great in terms of story, personality, music, and combat. Combat may be repetitive but I was fine with it, the interaction between the characters are also amazing, especially Rocket and Drax. This game is definitely worth a try.
~ 3 ~
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy- PC - 9/10 - 54.3 hrs - 100%

- Objection! I really do get bored by playing visual novel games, but this one is different. It is my first time playing an Ace Attorney game, and I fell in love with it. The characters are all great, and each case will get you puzzled. The exchange of dialogue between the prosecutor and Phoenix Wright was always hilarious. Gumshoe is also a funny guy in my book. I also like Miles Edgeworth, reminds me of Vergil (DmC) for some reason.
~ 2 ~
Cuphead - PC - 9/10 - 13.3 hrs - Main + Side
- An amazing platformer boss rush game. I already played this on my Nintendo Switch back in 2019, but with the release of the DLC, I speed run the game again on PC. This is actually a chill game for me, despite failing a lot of times. The art style is also one of a kind.
~ 1 ~
Yakuza 0 - PC - 9/10 - 62.5 hrs - Main + Side
- An amazing start for the Yakuza Series (I started playing this before Kiwami). This game tells the backstory of Kiryu and Majima in alternating chapters. Just like in any Yakuza games, this game provides tons of activities such as billiards, karaoke, casino, and you can even manage your own cabaret club. Both characters also have their own style of fighting. There are also tons of substories which are hilarious in every way. And, the main story will make you tear up for sure just like any other Yakuza games.
Honorable Mentions
Ghostrunner - PC - 8/10 - 16.4 hrs - Main + Side
- A fast-paced parkour action game. Definitely a fun game to play, and the graphics are amazing. You also have all these kinds of abilities to help you get through the levels. Quite a short game though.
Martha is Dead - PC - 8/10 - 7.3 hrs - 100%
- A psychological horror game, with great story and visuals. A rather disturbing plot that is not for the faint of heart. I enjoyed it even though it can feel like a walking simulator at times. There are also creepy moments like when I saw a figure on the second floor window of the house. A decent short game to try.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion - PC - 9/10 - 40.3 hrs - 100%
- Prequel to the original FFVII. This remaster of the PsP game is amazing, with much improved gameplay, audio, and graphics. The updated models are great, but the voice changes are bad. A fun game to play if you're a Final Fantasy VII fan.
Least Favorite
SG/ZH: School Girl/Zombie Hunter - PC - 6/10 - 13.7 hrs - Main + Side
- I don't have a screenshot of this game but it is so bad. It's a zombie shooting game with unfair difficulty, broken controls, annoying audio design and level design. For some reason you can also remove your clothes and use it as a decoy to distract zombies (weird stuff). I don't know how I managed to finish this game but I am not playing it ever again.

First week of 2023! My goal for this year is to trim down my backlogs. I've noticed that I have 40+ games on the 'Playing' category, so I'll start working on that one first. I am also excited to what's coming this January, I can't wait to get my hands on the remaster of Persona 3 Portable on January 19th and Dead Space Remake on January 27th. December 31, 2022 was supposed to be included in this log, but as I have mentioned before, I didn't get a chance to play that day so we're cutting a day off. I also post the updates on a Friday night UTC+08:00.
January 2023
(Week of January 1 - 6)
All-Star Fighters - Playstation 2 - 5/10 - 1 hr - Main Story

Source: CDRomance
- A budget fighting game from japan for the Ps2. It was localized for EU after a year and a half. All of the characters here are from the same budget series made by D3 Publisher called the Simple Series. This game is not good, well it is a budget game and was released decades ago. It is also unbalanced, some of the fighters have incredible reach and gimmicks, and some of them just plainly suck. The stages hurt my eyes and the sound quality is also bad. The characters from Onechanbara and Earth Defense Force are also here, while the others I haven't even heard of. I'll be trying more of their budget games and hopefully they're better than this one.
Mortal Kombat X - PC - 7/10 - 21.2 hrs - Main + Side

Source: My own screenshot
- I really don't dwell deep into MK lore, but this game is decent. I love Mileena in this game, especially the DLC characters like Leatherface, Alien, and Jason Voorhees. The roster is not that bad, but with the introduction of new characters and the removal of fan favorites, it wasn't accepted well. I prefer MK9 or MK11 over this, another factor is that the character design changes were not that good. Online also sucks in this game. Overall, not a bad experience, I did enjoy playing it and viewing all Fatalities.
Ranma 1/2: Hard Battle - SNES - 6/10 - 48 mins - Main

Source: Wikipedia
- Another retro fighting game from the SNES era. This one from my favorite childhood anime which I didn't even know had a game, until recently. This game is fun and simple, but the controls are hard since its an SNES game.
There Is No Game: Jam Edition 2015 - Mobile - 7/10 - 16 mins - Main

Source: Steam
- This is a short but fun point and click game. It is one of a kind, the puzzles are amazing, the humor, and the overall experience. The developer released another game back in 2020, I'll definitely check it if I have time.
Lala the Magical - NES - 7/10 - 48 mins - Main

Source: The Mojon Twins
- A retro platformer game created for the 2016 NESdev Competition. It's basically a game where you collect items and avoid enemies. You have limited health and you can summon a platform while mid-air but is limited to one at a time, unless you've picked a power-up. If you're bad at platforming games, it might take some practice to accomplish this.
L.A. Noire - PC - 8/10 - 45 hrs - Main + Side

Source: Digital Spy
- A very great crime thriller detective game. Rockstar Games should make a sequel or at least a remake of this game. You go around the city of L.A. solving crimes about homicide, fraud, arson, and many more. You will learn about the main character's background 'Cole Phelps' as you progress and become the best detective in town. This game is also an open world where you can drive around and even test out many vehicles. There are also collectibles and random dispatches you can respond to as you drive around the city. The game is capped at 30 FPS though, and the A.I of the cars are stupid. Overall, one of the best crime detective game.
Ubermosh - PC - 7/10 - 6.3 hrs - Main + Side

Source: Steam
- A top-down bullet hell game. It has a retro arcade style to it where you have to survive the time limit and kill as many enemies. I got it for 0.18 USD which is a steal, and this game can either make you rage or addicted. You can also deflect bullets and there are classes to choose from. A fun game to try since it's cheap.
Note: What happened to my previous progressing titles?
- I tend to jump from game to game and leave other games on hold if I find something I really want to play. Don't worry though, I'll get back to them as soon as possible since I'm prioritizing the games on my 'Playing' category.
Dante's Inferno - Ps3 - 1.3 hrs - Main

Source: The Guardian
- Classic God of War gameplay like and style from EA. I can't wait to play through this since I love the hack 'n slash genre and I haven't played one in a while.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 731.5 hrs - (casual, levelling bp)
- The usual casual grind. I'm already at battlepass tier 80, and I still have 2 months left until the next season. Ubisoft servers are acting up again, I don't trust this company in having a stable server once in a while. And also, people in casual needs to chill, stop playing like its ranked.
Genshin Impact - PC - 699.8 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)

Source: Pro Game Guides
- I got the wrong 5* weapon. I was trying to get Raiden Shogun's spear and ended up losing. Oh well, at least this weapon can be used by my Ayaka. There is also a new event where you collect balloons within a time limit which is fun and rewarding. I finally completed my deck for TCG which is wrecking all A.I opponents. I also can't wait for the next update which has a new map expansion and characters.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 67 hrs - (dailies, events)
- Nothing interesting happened. I'm almost done getting my first SSS rank Valkyrie, I think I will have it in a few days.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 130.1 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: Twitter
- New Nikke arrived but I am broke and didn't get her. I manage to farm for materials and free event pulls but I wasn't lucky enough. Hoping to get her in the upcoming weeks or if not then I'll just wait for someone else.
Games completed this week: 7

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 731.5 hrs - (casual, levelling bp)
- The usual casual grind. I'm already at battlepass tier 80, and I still have 2 months left until the next season. Ubisoft servers are acting up again, I don't trust this company in having a stable server once in a while. And also, people in casual needs to chill, stop playing like its ranked.
> Gacha Games

I do agree that L.A Noire is a great game. I actually miss playing it. Sucks that it's capped, but I do agree that it could do with either a remake, a sequel, or just a new game in general. I thought it was quite well thought-out.

Knowing Rockstar, they'll probably prioritize GTA and RDD over this game. And I don't think they will go back to using facial motion capture. It would be a miracle for them to revive this game.

Nice to see some metal slug love. No idea if you know but you should check out Gunforce 1 and 2. Very similar to Metal Slug and quite good for games before Metal Slug. Gunforce 1 came out in '91 and Gunforce 2 in '94.

Hello everyone! Another week has passed, which means another update is needed. I have also decided to participate in the Gaming Challenge for this year. I think it will help in clearing my backlogs.
January 2023
(Week of January 7 - 13)
Monument Valley - Mobile - 8/10 - 2 hrs - Main + DLC (Ida's Dream)

Source: PCMag
- This game is quite nice. I have included it in one of the challenges this year particularly the relaxing 'feel good' game category. This game is a puzzle game, in which you have to help Ida (the player) reach the summit of each monument. The puzzles are beautiful and built around optical illusions. You have to move and twist certain parts of the monument in order to make a path for Ida. It definitely gives the relaxing vibe, and I played it while I'm in bed. For the DLC, 'Ida's Dream', the puzzles are definitely harder, but there is main hub in here. The main hub is a windmill structure which has 5 entrances that you need to explore, and it also has puzzles inside that are needed to complete. After solving the puzzles, Ida can now climb the peak of the windmill to finish the DLC. Very short game, relaxing, and fun.
Track & Field II - NES - 7/10 - 1.2 hrs - Main
-3.png)
Source: Giant Bomb
- An old sports game by Konami. This game is also included in my Gaming Challenge 2023 under the 'sports game'. Believe it or not, this is actually the fourth title in the series, despite the roman numeral 'II' present. It is also known as 'Konamic Sports in Seoul', which includes sporting events like: Fencing, Pole Vault, Hurdles, Taekwondo, and many more. This game is not that bad as long as you know how to play each sporting event. This game doesn't have tutorials though, but the NES only has 2 buttons and a d-pad so you'll figure it out.
Dante's Inferno - Ps3 - 2.5 hrs - Main

Source: IGN
- I defeated the 2nd boss, which is King Minos, and I'm heading towards the 2nd Circle of Hell, 'Lust'. I also like the Unholy and the Holy side of the ability tree. This game really feels like a God of War ripoff, they even have the QTEs. I have also included this game in the Gaming Challenge under the old game (released 10+ years ago).
Alice: Madness Returns - PC - 3.6 hrs - Main

Source: Rock Paper Shotgun
- I'm at Mad Hatter which is still in Chapter 1. I like the weapons that they give Alice, and also the art style of this game. Can't wait to find more disturbing stuff.
Gotham Knights - PC - 20.4 hrs - 100%

Source: My own screenshot
- I love this game despite the performance issues and crashes. I have tried all of the characters and I really like Tim Drake's playstyle, as well as Batgirl. I have already progressed through some of the side content, and I will be finishing the main story first since I'm almost level 20. I am also waiting for a patch to fix the problems present in-game. This game is also included in my Gaming Challenge under 'an open world game'.
Borderlands 2 - PC - 69.2 hrs - Main + DLC

Source: DualShockers
- This is another replay of a game that I've played before. Even though I have Borderlands 3 and have completed it, I still prefer this one. This game is just wonderful for me, and I just can't get enough of Handsome Jack. I am actually pretty far in the story, and I'm just trying to clear all side missions for xp. This game is also included in my Gaming Challenge under 'a cel-shaded game'.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 739.5 hrs - (casual, levelling bp)
- I'm already at BP Tier 90, my aim is also getting rusty since I usually play games on a controller. I need to practice more in order to get much better accuracy. Almost forgot, I actually got an 'Ace' this week, it is when someone eliminates the other team by themselves. It is like a 1 v 5 situation, and I don't even know how I did it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II / Warzone 2 - PC - 74.1 hrs - (levelling battlepass)

Source: My own screenshot
- This weapon plus the riot shield is a beast, especially in the shipment map. Finally completed all the attachments needed in order to have a better hip fire weapon. BP levelling is also slow for some reason.
Genshin Impact - PC - 707.3 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)
- Nothing new this week, I'm just waiting for the big patch next week with a new map expansion, story, characters, etc. I am just casually farming for materials and primogems for the next banner.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 68.3 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: My own screenshot
- How lucky am I? As soon as the update dropped, I just pulled 5 times and got her. I will definitely be building her despite being a F2P player. There is also new story content which I have not played yet.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 143.7 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: GamerBraves
- New update, new character. I also got her which is nice, now I have like 40 SSR Nikkes that need to be levelled up. I am thanking the synchro device for syncing my Nikkes' level to my highest one. New event which also means more free pulls.

- One of the categories for the Gaming Challenge 2023 is the completion of a game with a short title of 4 letters or less. I took that to an extent that I decided to play a single letter titled game. This is a horror game which should be interesting since I like that genre.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler - GBA

Source: GameFAQs
- A game for the 'tabletop or card videogame' challenge. This one is a mix of both I think, I'm also intrigued by it since I play the TCG and OCG version of Yu-Gi-Oh!
New Super Mario Bros. U - Wii U

Source: Wikipedia
- I can't wait to play this one since I love platforming games, especially Mario ones. I didn't bother buying the Nintendo Switch port of this game because why would I?
Pac-Man Fever - Ps2

Source: Wikipedia
- A game for the 'party game' challenge. I am quite stuck with this challenge so I just picked randomly and this one caught my eye. Hoping for it to be fun.

January 2023
(Week of January 14 - 20)
Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler - GBA - 6/10 - 1.3 hrs - Main

Source: BagoGames
- This game is like a mix of Monopoly and Mario party with Yu-Gi-Oh! content added to it. You capture tiles and place your monster cards on it, and try to get your opponent's Life Points to zero. Each character also has their own unique ability. The texts in this game are difficult to read though, and it can be boring after a while.
NextDoor - Browser - 7/10 - 13 mins - Main

Source: PC Gamer
- This game is a short pixel horror game inspired by Junji Ito. My favorite japanese horror-mangaka, as I've read all of his works. I am surprised someone made a game using one of his works as inspiration. I think this game was inspired by 'The Window Next Door' short story by Junji Ito, it truly has the same vibe with the unknown weird looking neighbor. This game is toned down a bit compared to the real manga, but it is still a fun experience. I hope they make a full game inspired by Junji Ito in the future.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle - PC - 8/10 - 27.2 hrs - Main + Side

Source: Arc System Works
- This game is much simplified compared to other 2D fighters. Characters from Blazblue, Under Night In-Birth, Persona 4 Arena, and RWBY joined the roster of this game. Combos are definitely easier to perform if you're new to 2d fighters. Just a little bit of practice and you'll be good in no time. Art style is also great, the story can be confusing though but I really didn't pay attention to it. Overall, an easy 2d fighting game, great for casual play. If you want a much more difficult 2d fighter, then I suggest the other Blazblue games.
Disney's Aladdin (1993) - SNES - 8/10 - 1.1 hrs - Main

Source: Wikipedia
- A great classic platformer of the movie 'Aladdin'. This game can be quite infuriating because of the tight controls and the death system, where you restart the level if you die. But thankfully, there is a password system given after you finish a level in order to jump back where you progressed, even if you lose all of your lives. Snake Jafar is definitely the hardest boss in this game. A great game to try out for those who like platformers.
Borderlands 2 - PC - 76.4 hrs - Main + DLC

Source: Flickr
- I'm at the endgame now, final mission to defeat The Warrior and Handsome Jack. I have also completed all the side missions in the base game. After this, I'll be cleaning up the DLCs and probably try other classes. One of the best shooter-looter game out there until Gearbox (developer) became greedy.
Dante's Inferno - Ps3 - 3.1 hrs - Main

Source: Engadget
- This is a somewhat SFW image to show lol. I'm in the 2nd Circle of Hell, 'Lust', and the amount of nudity in this game is stupid. Not only do I fight naked enemies but also I get to fight naked Cleopatra. There are literally enemies spawning out of her chest, I just don't know what they're thinking when they made this game. The combat is somewhat fine for me.
DOOM (2016) - PC - 5.9 hrs - Main Story + Side Content

Source: Bethesda.net
- I'm halfway through the missions I think. The weapon selections in this game are amazing. Personally, I like the shotguns and the chainsaw. I'm at the part where I warped to hell, and I think enemies will get stronger from this point. I am enjoying this game so much, I like shooting demons.
Persona 3 Portable - PC - 8.8 hrs - 100%

Source: My own screenshot
- Since I've 100% both Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, I will try my best to also 100% this game. There are two protagonist in this game and for my first playthrough, I will go for the male route. I'm still figuring out things, and I'm just sad that this game's upscaling is bad. There is still no manual skill inheritance which sucks, I was hoping for more QoL updates.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 752.2 hrs - (casual, levelling bp)
- I have unlocked all rewards in the battle pass at tier 97. I think Ubisoft just scammed me, they made the battle pass look big by converting the UI into tiles that you can unlock, but in the end there are fewer rewards compared to previous seasons. And now, I just casually play without a care in the xp or renown.
Genshin Impact - PC - 728.1 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)

Source: My own screenshot
- Version 3.4 is finally out, which means there are new quests, characters, and a desert map expansion. Lantern Rite has also started, an event celebrating the lunar new year featuring characters from Liyue. Also, Ayaka finally has a skin and I bought it for sure. There is another long questline called 'The Dirge of Bilqis' which the Traveller and Paimon need to accompany their friend Jeht to the Eternal Oasis. I completed the new quest after 6 hours along with new puzzles and enemies I have discovered. There is also a new serpent like boss which drop materials for the ascension of Alhaitham (the new character banner). I want to get the new 4* character named Yaoyao, but I don't have enough primogems to pull for her. I will focus on 100% exploration for my desert map since everything else is 100% on my map.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 69.5 hrs - (dailies, events)
- I'm farming for my Herrscher of Truth, and I like her gameplay so much. I'm also doing my routine and other events as usual. Hopefully, I get the other Herrschers, especially Mei in the near future.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 156.2 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: GamerBraves
- Another new Nikke, this game is not F2P friendly. I barely have time to save for new characters. I am constantly doing my events and dailies, and hopefully get a good SSR in the future.
Death Stranding: Director's Cut - PC

Source: Steam
- I can't wait to play a Hideo Kojima game. I've heard a lot of good things about this game so I got it during sale.
The Silver Case - PC

Source: Steam
- Part of Suda51's 'Kill the Past' games. Can't wait to play this one and immerse myself to its complicated plot. I also have the other games after this since this is a part of a trilogy.
Panzer Dragoon: Remake - PC

Source: Forbes
- A remake of a classic rail shooter game originally made by Sega. I can't wait to try this one out.
Slain: Back from Hell - PC

Source: Steam
- Thanks to user @brnzen for the giveaway of this game. The art style of this game is quite intriguing and it is a Metroidvania, which means I'm up for a challenge.

Happy Lunar New Year!
Just wanted to share my setup and basically my gaming space. I play most of my games on PC, and I also do have a Nintendo Switch which I don't usually play often anymore. I am so glad that I've discovered the world of gaming, since it has opened me up to a lot of communities, and people. I am also amazed by the people behind every game for coming up with some cool concepts and gameplay, that became known to this day. I really am looking forward to more games, events, discussions, and fun. Maybe someday I'll become a developer myself :)

With that being said, time to clear my backlogs, and hopefully reach our goal by the end of 2023. I'll have more updates to come. Have a great day!

January 2023
(Week of January 21 - 27)
DOOM (2016) - PC - 8/10 - 10.4 hrs - Main Story + Side Content

Source: WhatCulture.com
- Doom 2016 is an amazing revival for the series. New addition of weapons such as the Heavy Assault Rifle and Gauss Cannon made clearing every level even more fun. I also like the swappable mods on each gun, it gives a lot of variety in terms of gameplay. This game has a lot of content from power-ups to weapon upgrades, as well as challenges. There are also secret collectibles which I didn't bother to find. On the other hand, performing glory kills on different enemy type is fun combined with the heavy metal background music. I will definitely check out Doom Eternal in the future.
Endless Zone - PC - 6/10 - 57 mins - Main

Source: WayTooManyGames
- A game part of Sega's 60th anniversary. This game is like a fusion of 'Fantasy Zone' inside the Endless Space universe. It has your typical classic arcade shooter gameplay which is definitely just copied from 'Fantasy Zone', in a different setting. The controls are a little bit bad though compared to the 1986 game, and I don't even know if the ship is shooting straight or downwards (something's off). You basically defeat enemies, collect coins, wait for the shop icon to appear in order to buy upgrades or lives, and then defeat the boss to proceed.
Metal Slug 5 - Playstation 2 - 8/10 - 50 mins - Main

Source: Wikipedia
- Another Metal Slug completed. This one is definitely in my top 3. The addition of the slide mechanic by pressing down (d-pad) + jump button gives this game so much variety. The levels were also great, there was a plane level, an underwater level, and even a car chase. The bosses were pretty much okay, with the exception of the final one. The final boss looks so cool, but the hitboxes of its attack is just broken. Overall, I did enjoy this game and will certainly play it with my friends next time.
Borderlands 2 - PC - 80.6 hrs - Main + DLC

Source: IGN
- I am currently completing the DLCs in this game. For this week, I've completed 'Captain Scarlet and Her Pirate's Booty' DLC, as well as 'How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day' DLC. The Captain Scarlet DLC for me was short, but it was fun. The boss wasn't that hard but the Hyperius and Master Gee the Invincible side missions gave me a hard time. The Mercenary Day DLC was fun, as it was Christmas themed and I had to fight a giant snowman. Now, I am making my way through 'Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage' and hopefully finish it soon.
Persona 3 Portable - PC - 14.6 hrs - 100%

Source: My own screenshot
- I have defeated the first main boss of the game, 'The Priestess', and Akihiko finally recovered from his injuries. I also ranked top 10 in the first exam which made me earn a reward from Mitsuru. I am currently farming for money, XP, and persona to be used for fusions or social link. Also, I am trying to reach floor 40 which is the first half of the Arqa Block in Tartarus. I am enjoying the game right now, and can't wait to be overpowered.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix+ - PC - 46.7 hrs - Main + Side

Source: Gematsu
- I certainly do love rhythm games. This is by far my favorite rhythm game that got ported to PC. It has most of the songs from previous Project Diva games. The difficulty is just right for me, and I'm trying to perfect every song except those in the extreme category. 'The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku' will definitely give me a hard time.
Death Stranding: Director's Cut - PC - 8.2 hrs - Main + Side

Source: My own screenshot
- This game is wonderful. I have my doubts before buying this game, since many people have said that this is just a walking simulator. But they're completely wrong, this game is addicting, as it offers so much content. Yes, it revolves around delivering orders, but the way you can manage your inventory, plan your route, avoid enemies, etc. makes this game a hidden gem. Also, Hideo Kojima's way of storytelling is quite intriguing and I'm enjoying every second of it. BB is fun to have during my exploration, and also the BTs are terrifying to encounter. I can't wait to unravel the mystery behind the world of Death Stranding.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 759.6 hrs - (casual, levelling bp)
- Casually enjoying winning and testing out my least used operators. Also, the patch note this week removed the vertical grip for Twitch's F2 gun which made the recoil worse. And, they buffed Grim's weapon since no one uses him.
Escape the Backrooms - PC - 5.5 hrs - Main

Source: Steam
- Me and my friends had already finished this game, but just recently, the developer had revamped the game and added new levels. That's why we are playing this game again. We have passed level 0 which is your typical backrooms with a black string monster chasing you. Then, we made our way to the car park level which has an imposter that copies our player model. This part really scared us because we would have thought that it was just one of us, but then it would transform into a monster. Then we have managed to go through the electrical station, and we saw the dog monster that was afraid of lights which was a good thing. And now, we are in the hotel level and will continue it by next week.
Genshin Impact - PC - 738 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)

Source: The Nerd Stash
- I have completed the whole Lantern Rite event this week. I was surprised that Hu Tao was performing with Xinyan at the end scene. And, Venti meeting Zhongli was just amazing, the interactions of every character made this event so much fun. I am also at 50+ pity and I am hoping to get another Hu Tao or her weapon at least in the upcoming weeks. And, I am still farming for those Nobushi Handguard drops in Inazuma which has a low drop rate for some reason.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 70.7 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: HoYoverse
- I got the S-rank battlesuit, Stygian Nymph, which is a great addition to my collection. I haven't done any story or events, since I don't have time with all the gacha games I have. But I still continuously do my daily routine.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 169.7 hrs - (dailies, events)
- After doing another 10 pull or even more, I still could not get Viper which is the newest limited time Nikke right now. I am constantly grinding for more materials and trying to improve my Nikkes for endgame content and arena.
Hi-Fi Rush - PC

Source: Forbes
- A game shadow dropped by Tango Gameworks, the developer team behind 'The Evil Within', and 'Ghostwire: Tokyo'. I can't believe that they're going out of their way into creating not just only horror games, but also other genres. This is a rhythm action game and I certainly do like what the gameplay is showing from the trailers. I can't wait to buy it.

For this week, I've done a lot of changes on how I list my games. I've removed my 'Played' list and transferred everything to my 'Retired' list instead. That's why if you look at my profile, you'll see a high retirement rate (I don't finish games back in my early years). Also, I've added my installed games to the backlog list, which explains the sudden increase in my backlogs. I have also added an 'Up Next' list to organize the games that I will be playing next instead of piling everything in the 'Playing' section. I plan to finish the games on my 'Playing' list (except Gacha / Multiplayer) before proceeding to my backlogs. Hopefully, I can also tackle the games on my Gaming Challenge 2023 collection.

I accidently insulted a witch and now all of my clothes are sentient and they hate me! - Browser - 7/10 - 35 mins - 100%

Source: Itch.io
- This game looks like a retro Pokémon game with similar gameplay style. But this one depicts a story of redemption, perseverance, and self-acceptance that is aimed towards non-binary people. I personally can't relate to this game but I do get the meaning that it is trying to convey. Overall, a good short game.
Super Mario Bros. 2 - NES - 7/10 - 2.5 hrs - Main

Source: Wikipedia
- This game is technically not a 'Mario' game, but Nintendo decided to include Mario characters from the game Doki Doki Panic and release it as Super Mario Bros. 2. This game definitely has a lot of differences compared to the other titles. First, this game lets you choose between Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad before every level, in which they all have their unique capabilities. Second, jumping on enemies won't defeat them; instead, one must stand on top of them and lift them up so that you can throw them to another enemy. There are also plants that can be pulled from the ground to reveal throwable vegetables, bombs, etc. The levels are quite complex compared to other Mario games. You need to find keys to unlock doors, blow up rocks, ride flying enemies to cross a large gap, etc. And at the end of every level, you'll find a boss which is Birdo in different colors. There are 7 worlds and at the end level of each world there will be a slightly tougher boss. As for the final boss named 'Wart', in which has not appeared in any Mario game ever since, is not that challenging. SMB2's theme was great but not as memorable as the first one. The graphics of this game is a bit more vibrant compared to the first Super Mario Bros. The story is about saving the dreamland of Subcon as 'Wart' tries to conquer it. Overall, a great Mario game but kinda odd and quite difficult to get used to.
Yoshi - NES - 6/10 - 45 mins - Main

Source: Wikipedia
- This game is a falling block puzzler game like Tetris or Dr. Mario. The player controls Mario or Luigi and has to prevent falling blocks that contain monsters from piling to the top of the screen. You can switch the different columns to position the objects, and if there is a chain of monsters with two Yoshi egg shells, then the egg shells will merge and a Yoshi will form. It will add up to the total points, as well as eliminate the monsters within. This particular game lacks the challenge compared to Tetris or Dr. Mario. It can be boring real fast.

- I have progressed through a lot of content this week. I have defeated 6 of the Arcana Shadows that appear on a Full Moon, which is the main plot of the game in order to remove the Dark Hour. I have also managed to gain new playable characters or members. First, I have managed to save Fuuka Yamagishi, in which she became the navigator of the team. Then, Mitsuru Kirijo finally joined us in battle. After that, we met Aigis, which is an anti-shadow weapon robot that joined us during the Summer trip. I'm at the point where another possible member may join us, as well as the plot is starting to become interesting. The history of the Dark Hour, Tartarus, and Shadows is becoming much clearer, and the real enemy will soon reveal themselves. For the grind part, the enemies are not that bad, except for the drop rate of certain side quests items. I'm almost at the midpoint of the game, and I can't wait to play as FeMC next time.
Death Stranding: Director's Cut - PC - 31.4 hrs - Main + Side

Source: My own screenshot
- I am really enjoying this game. I just finished Episode 5, and I think I'm starting to understand the world after Death Stranding. The struggle of each person in this world is also interesting, as delivering packages to them feels much more fulfilling. Driving around is also fun, especially the people who help create structures such as bridges, roads, etc. That helps me with my delivery. Encountering BTs and MULEs is also challenging as I am forced to use my weapons and throw everything at my disposal. I can't wait to finish this game.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 775.8 hrs - (casual, waiting for next season)
- Usual casual matches with lots of tryhards every time. I am just waiting for the next season at this point.
Escape the Backrooms - PC - 7.8 hrs - Main

Source: Steam
- Me and my friends have finished the Hotel level which has the dog and skin-stealer monsters roaming. Then, we proceeded to the Party room, I think, where we needed to hide under the tables; and after that, we proceeded as usual. We got to the old reworked levels such as the pool rooms, the chase, the library, the staircase, and finally reached a new level called 'Level 94'. This level was huge compared to others as it was open-world with vehicles and houses, and it was fun exploring, but sadly the game bugged for us and we didn't see the monster. The monster was supposed to attack at night and we needed to hide ourselves inside the houses. The next level was a clown enemy that we had to survive until we could leave. The final level was the dark room, which we had to use the motion sensors to detect the enemy and find the exit; it was surely entertaining. We can't wait for the next update, as it teases us with a level that is in the middle of an ocean.
Genshin Impact - PC - 747.5 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)
- The Lisa skin event finally started and I am going through it as quick as possible. I am also at 70 pity, and I am waiting for the Hu Tao banner in order for me to have her first constellation. I am also thinking of getting her signature weapon without spending real money, if possible. Also, I have been farming the usual materials needed for my characters; most of them are already maxed out though.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 71.9 hrs - (dailies, events)
- The usual material farming, and checking out the events. I really can't get into the story since I don't have time for it. I'll probably play it after they have concluded everything.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 180.5 hrs - (dailies, events)

- New update which means there is a new event, and a new character. I have tried to pull and did not get any SSR. I am completing the event for more tickets, so I can go ahead and try out my luck in pulling this character. I am also continuously doing my dailies and farming gems for future banners.
Post Mortem, Still Life, Still Life 2 - PC

- I think these games will be an interesting point and click adventure made by the same developers of Syberia. These were on sale and were bundled since they're a trilogy. I can't wait to play these games and share my thoughts about them.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising - PC

- This one has been on my wishlist for a while now. I bought it on sale at 80% off, and I am liking the HD-2D graphics of this game. This game is also an action RPG, which is nice.
Fate/Samurai Remnant - PC

Source: Gematsu
- I am a big fan of the Fate series, and I can't wait to play this one. This is a new action RPG from Koei Tecmo Games. Hopefully its better than the Fate/EXTELLA games.
Deceptus - PC - 6/10 - 15 mins

Source: Steam
- This game is a 2D Online Arena PvP game. The game has multiple weapons to start with, as well as various power-ups within the map. The game has a mechanic in which if the screen border is red, you cannot move, or else you will die. I did play a couple of matches and it can be quite boring after a while. The game is free though, so it's not that bad.
Plunder Panic - PC - 5/10 - 56 mins

Source: Steam
- Another 2D PvP multiplayer game I've tried, but this time the goal is to plunder from the enemy team and defeat them. The mechanics are somewhat clever, but the matchmaking can be a bit tedious since there are only a few people who plays this game. And also, I got this game for free during their giveaway.

Persona 3 Portable - PC - 30.8 hrs - 100%

February 2023
(Week of February 4 - 10)
Garten of Banban - PC - 3/10 - 23 mins - Main

Source: Steam
- A poppy playtime copycat that's not even scary in the slightest. The puzzles are not that challenging, and there's no scare or any thing that could make this a horror game. I also do think that this game is a cash grab since there's a merch link and a sequel announced on the same day of its release. I don't know what's happening to Indie Horror games, but hopefully they don't go down this path.
Destiny 2 - PC - 7/10 - 1394.6 hrs - Main + Side

Source: My own screenshot
- After almost 3-4 years of playing this action MMO game, I've finally decided to stop and put it on my completion list. I have completed every DLC and content it has to offer. I have almost all of the exotic weapons, and armor, as well as titles from Raid completions. Me and my clanmates have finished all Raid/Dungeon content the game has to offer, and everything endgame related. The seasonal content feels recycled; that's why I decided to not play the game anymore. But with the final expansion called 'Lightfall' that will be released this end of February, I might come back and play this game again. I am also the leader of our clan, so I guess I should pass the torch to one of my dedicated members. There are so many memories for me in this game, which makes it hard for me to move on with it. This game has 3 classes to choose from, 'Hunter', 'Warlock', and 'Titan' which varies in playstyle. There are also subclasses which are like elements that vary in skills such as Void, Solar, Arc, Stasis, and the upcoming Strand. This game has so much content (for paid DLC players) to offer, but for F2P not that much. The game is also too grindy and I really just don't have the time to catchup anymore. It was a good run, though.
Jaws - NES - 6/10 - 45 mins - Main
.png/220px-Jaws_(NES_Screenshot).png)
Source: Wikipedia
- This game is your basic addictive shooter-type game inspired by the movie 'Jaws'. The gameplay is simple; you go from port to port in your ship, occasionally getting stopped randomly for an underwater side-shooter type of gameplay. Shooting enemies will drop you shells that are needed to increase your power, and sometimes there is a bonus scene which grants more points to be traded for more shells. Once you've upgraded enough, you can now try and defeat Jaws, which will be greeted by a beautiful end screen. Such a simple game, it has its flaws but can be fun to play.
Death Stranding: Director's Cut - PC - 10/10 -56.2 hrs - Main + Side

Source: My own screenshot
- This game is an absolute masterpiece. The gameplay revolves around delivering cargo between isolated settlements with various tools at hand. Other players can also provide help by lending items or building infrastructure for your route (Ladders, Bridges, Roads, etc.). I also enjoyed organizing my inventory and preparing for the route to take during a delivery. You walk at the start of the game, but gradually unlock vehicles such as motorbikes and trucks. They definitely help in delivering larger amounts of cargo in later episodes. You also need to keep your balance if you're carrying a lot of cargo on your back, which is a unique mechanic. You will also carry a BB (Bridge Baby) which helps in detecting BTs (Beached Things), which are technically ghosts or the non-human enemies of this game. Combat in this game is quite nice; you can use various weapons such as a pistol, an assault rifle, and later on, a quad launcher. They'll be needing your blood as a bullet if you're fighting BTs, since you have special traits. That's why its important to bring extra blood bags. And non-lethal weapons to be used against MULEs and other human terrorists enemies to avoid a voidout (corpse tend to cause a huge explosion in the premise of this world). The atmosphere is amazing; getting to venture through rough terrains and mountains is a unique experience. In addition, the soundtracks complement your travels around the country as you help reconnect everyone after the catastrophic events of the 'Death Stranding'. The story is great, as expected of Hideo Kojima; there are twists and turns in the later episodes. The acting is top notch, especially Norman Reedus (Sam Bridges), Mads Mikkelsen (Cliff Unger), Lea Seydoux (Fragile), and Troy Baker (Higgs). I fell in love with the characters and overall story of the game. If you're a fan of a sci-fi narrative and exploration game, you should definitely play this game.
Persona 3 Portable - PC - 42.6 hrs - 100%

Source: My own screenshot
- For this week, I have defeated the Chariot, Justice, and Hermit during a full moon. There were also new members that joined our team. A dog named Koromaru, an elementary student named Ken Amada, and a previous member named Shinjiro Aragaki. I have learned the true origin of the Tartarus, and the appearance of the Dark Hour as it was explained during the main story event. A new antagonistic group named Strega also started to show up, which can be quite interesting.
Monster Hunter Rise - PC - 211.3 hrs - Main + DLC

Source: Game8
- It's been a while since I've played this game. But, there is a new update which added Velkhana, an elder dragon from Iceborne, and a Risen version of Crimson Glow Valstrax. I am currently MR 120+ which I am still grinding for more rank to unlock all Risen monsters, and to upgrade my gear at its best. Will definitely play more of this game, and I really enjoy the hunts that it offers.
Hogwarts Legacy - PC - 10.3 hrs - 100%

Source: My own screenshot
- Yep, I preordered the game and had a 72-hour early access. The graphics in this game are beautiful, and I am currently enjoying everything it has to offer, from customizations, spells, side quests, collectibles, and of course its story. I like how you can customize your own wand, and explore Hogwarts to the fullest. I can't wait to progress further and I will probably put all my time into this game for a while.

- My luckiest week so far, I won my 50/50 pity again and got another Hu Tao. I now have Hu Tao's constellation 1, which removes the stamina depletion on her E skill ability. And, I've tried to pull for her weapon and got the 'Staff of Homa' in just a single pull. I really couldn't believe what just happened when I got it. Time to make her stronger, I guess. There is also a new event revolving around parrying and defeating enemies in a 1v1 arena. I can't wait to save up for the next banner!
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 73.1 hrs - (dailies, events)
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 192.9 hrs - (dailies, events)

- There's a new character again named 'Soda', and I don't have any tickets or gems to pull for her. Grinding in this game is definitely hard, and it is not F2P friendly. But, I will be saving all resources for the characters that I really like.
Honkai: Star Rail - PC

Source: FanByte
- Pre-registration is finally available! I can't wait to get into this game, since it is in the Honkai Universe but with UI from Genshin and a turn-based RPG.

Games completed this week: 4
Games on the backlog remaining: 294 (-4)
Note: I will only update the Gaming Challenge 2023 progress if I have accomplished a game under it. And, I didn't give an update to the games that have nothing really interesting happened for the week. Such as my multiplayer games and some gacha games.

Hello everyone! Here's another update for the month of February, and surprisingly, it's almost the end of the month. There are still a few games that will be releasing this month that I'm quite excited for. We have Like A Dragon: Ishin!, Atomic Heart, Sons of the Forest, Scars Above, and Destiny 2: Lightfall (I am still undecided whether or not to go back to Destiny lol). But for the meantime, I need to complete my backlogs.
February 2023
(Week of February 11 - 17)
Lydia - Nintendo Switch - 7/10 - 1.3 hrs - 100%

Source: Nintendo Life
- Lydia is a short game and a one-of-a kind experience. The story is tense and heartbreaking, and the underlying message will definitely resonate with many people. There are only 4 chapters to play through, but it successfully tells a haunting story about abuse and heartbreak without necessarily shoving it down your throat. The visuals are quite nice; you also directly control Lydia while investigating areas of interest, as well as selecting dialog choices. It is one of the most emotionally impactful games that I've ever played.
Tetris (1989) - Game Boy - 8/10 - 2.5 hrs - Main

Source: Wikipedia
- Probably the first video game I ever played when I was a kid, or it could be Super Mario Bros. I cant remember. The perfect pick-up-and-play experience to go along with the Game Boy or Nintendo Switch (they added GB games as part of the Online Subscription). There are actually various modes in this game. There is Game A, which is your standard Tetris game mode; then Game B, which forces you to remove a set of number of rows before your blocks stack up to the top of the screen. The original addictive puzzler that I grew up with.
Kirby's Dream Land - Game Boy - 8/10 - 45 mins - Main

Source: Wizard Dojo
- Kirby's first game, which is fun, charming, and relatively easy. You inhale and puke out the items or enemies at each other. You can also fly indefinitely by holding Up, which also gives him a puff of air to blast that is useful for certain enemies. There are 5 stages in this game which are fairly short, and the bosses are not that hard. King Dedede is also interesting, but his fight is fairly simple for a final boss. So glad I get to experience this classic again.
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards - PC - 6/10 - 1.7 hrs - Main

Source: Wikipedia
- First game of the Leisure Suit Larry series. A classic NSFW game where you control Larry on his adventure to find 'love'. You type in commands to do the action, as well as explore all the 5 locations looking for women. There is lots of humor and innuendos, but can be quite short, especially if you follow a walkthrough because this game can be confusing with its old graphics and gameplay.
Hogwarts Legacy - PC - 41.2 hrs - 100%

Source: My own screenshot
- Another week of playing this game. I have unlocked every type of spell, even 'Avada Kedavra'. I am progressing quite far into the story. I have finished Rookwood's trial and I am currently completing side quests while exploring uncharted areas of the map. The puzzles in this game are also clever, which I spend most of my time trying to solve. I have also designed my Room of Requirement for my plants and potions. The vivarium is also nice to have, especially taking care of the beasts that I have managed to rescue. I have also unlocked the mount, where I can ride Highwing the Hippogriff and fly through the map. I can't wait to see what more this game has to offer.
Superbeat: Xonic - Nintendo Switch - 3 hrs - Main

Source: Nintendo World Report
- A rhythm game that has been on my backlog for ages. I've redownloaded and started playing this game again on my Nintendo Switch. This game can be quite hard since you are required to use the joystick for scratch notes, and slide notes which you have to follow. There is also a use for the L and R buttons, which makes it much more complicated. There is a 4TRAX and 6TRAX mode where it differs on how many notes it appears on the side. I am playing on 4TRAX for the meantime as I only have to input 2 buttons from each joycon, as well as the joystick notes. There are 63 songs in this game, and I will be completing all of them.
Metroid Prime Remastered - Nintendo Switch - 1 hr - Main
:no_upscale()/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/71958135/Switch_MetroidPrimeRemastered_Screen_21.0.jpg)
Source: Polygon
- Finally got my hands on this game (digitally lol). An FPS Metroid game where I can finally get to experience, as well as being enhanced for the Nintendo Switch. I've played through the first level, and surprisingly, the gameplay is quite nice. Samus' face also reflects on her visor whenever I charge my shot which is a great detail. I will be finishing this game in the upcoming week for sure.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 795.4 hrs - (casual, waiting for next season)
- The announcement of Year 8 is finally coming soon. A new drone operator will be revealed and I am excited what the next season has to offer. As for the year pass, I am still not sure whether I should buy it again.
Genshin Impact - PC - 765.2 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)

Source: My own screenshot
- I could not believe it. I got another Hu Tao in just about 10 pulls from my previous 5 star. This game is really giving me my favorite character, and with that, I have not lost a single limited banner for 7 times in a row now. Hopefully, my luck keeps on going. There is also a new event which lets you have a battle using beetles, and it sure is quite fun. The next update's banner has also been announced, and I am sad that Dehya will be going to the standard banner after the 3.5 update.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 74.2 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: GamerBraves
- HoF finally got released! I am so happy for Kiana, but at the same time I am quite sad because I can't get her. I don't have infinite luck to get all the 3 Herrschers, but you'll never know.
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 206.3 hrs - (dailies, events)

Source: Nikke.gg
- I SHOULD HAVE SAVED MY GOLDEN TICKETS!! I wasn't expecting a collaboration with Chainsaw Man, and having Makima and Power as SSR would be really bad for my wallet. I hope I get either one of them from my saved up 20 pulls, or I'll be forced to spend my money to get them. Wish me luck!
Leisure Suit Larry Part 1 to 7 - PC

Source: Steam
- I got this game for free on Fanatical. 7 games to complete which is an additional to my never ending backlogs. I have finished the first game already, but there are still more games to go.
Chaos;Head Noah / Chaos;Child - PC

Source: Spike Chunsoft
- A visual novel part of the Science Adventures series. I have played Chaos;Child before, but it was ages ago. So I am excited to play through it again as well as its prequel.
Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp - PC

Source: Steam
- A spin-off board game of my favorite series. I am planning to play through V3 again first, before trying out this game. Hopefully, this game will not disappoint me.
Divine Knockout - PC - 6/10 - 1.3 hrs

Source: Steam
- This game is like a 3D smash bros. with various set of playable characters and skills to use. The problem is that it can get boring after a few matches since the gameplay is all the same. Also, every match feels so long to finish. I'm done with this game for now.

(Week of February 18 - 24)
Pac-Man Fever - Playstation 2 - 4/10 - 1.5 hrs - Main

Source: Wikipedia
- Compared to Mario Party, this party game is dull and uninspired. The mechanics are boring, and all of the boards available do not give interesting play styles. It is just a poorly executed Mario Party ripoff. Definitely a waste of time.
Timberman - Mobile - 7/10 - 4.5 hrs - Main

Source: Steam
- A simple and repetitive game where you chop down an infinitely tall tree. The gameplay revolves around on which side you tap/click in order to chop the wood and avoid getting hit by the branches. The stages also change with each attempt. There is also a timer in which forces the player to go quickly. The game also has a lot of unlockable characters and addicting challenges. And, it also has a multiplayer version, which I would try some time soon.
Labyrinthine - PC - 6/10 - 6.7 hrs - Main + Side

Source: GameByte
- This game is so dark that the flashlight barely even works. The monster in the maze also just jumps at you and can go from scary to annoying real quick. The puzzles can be really confusing and difficult, especially in the later chapters. There are also multiple enemies roaming in some of the chapters. Not the best co-op horror game I have played, but its still in early access.
Hogwarts Legacy - PC - 52.3 hrs - 100%

Source: EarlyGame
- For this week, I have finished most of my side quests, as well as finding collectibles around the map. I will finish the story next week, and hopefully 100% the whole game by that time. This game has been a truly great experience from the start. The only thing that I do not like is the fact that there are so many collectibles / puzzles everywhere.
Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp - PC - 3.3 hrs - Main

Source: Steam
- A board game rpg spin-off in the Danganronpa universe. I have played one round as Hajime and I am quite intrigued by the mechanics of the game. It is similar to the one in Danganronpa V3, but with more interactions that include all of the characters from the series. I really don't like the gacha system of this game, especially how they allow microtransactions for you to get good stuff. Anyways, I will be playing more of this in the upcoming weeks.
Atomic Heart - PC - 19.8 hrs - Main + Side

Source: My own screenshot
- A game that I have been waiting for quite some time. This game is a sci-fi action FPS game that is somewhat comparable to BioShock. I really am enjoying the various weapons, abilities, and overall gameplay that it has to offer. The story is mediocre, but the combat against various robots and weird mutants is great. You can also drive around in some parts. I can't wait to finish this game and probably replay it for a second time.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 807 hrs - (casual, waiting for next season)
Sons of The Forest - PC - 5.3 hrs - Main + Side

Source: GamesHub
- The game that broke steam upon its release. Me and my friends have started our playthrough for this game, a sequel to 'The Forest' which is a horror-crafting survival game. Even though its early access, this game has so much content to offer, as well as having a bigger map than before. Me and my friends (there are 7 of us playing) are currently exploring and learning the new mechanics, specially in the building part of the game. There is also an NPC that can help you in both single player and multiplayer. The mutants and cannibals are back and even scarier than ever. Definitely a fun game to play with friends.
Genshin Impact - PC - 772.5 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)
- New dendro characters have been announced for 3.6 (Baizhu and Kaveh), and I have finished all the events for this week.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 75.3 hrs - (dailies, events)
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 219.1 hrs - (dailies, events)
- Chainsaw Man event started, and I sadly did not get Makima in my saved up 30 pulls. I still have two weeks to pull for her, but I don't think I will have the luck to get her.
Haven (2020) - PC

Source: Steam
- Another game I got on sale. I keep telling myself to stop buying games, but it does not seem to work. Anyways, this game looks quite nice and I've heard good things about it.
Bloody Spell - PC

Source: Steam
- A chinese action game that I bought on sale. This one has a lot of customizations from what I've seen.
Bleak Faith: Forsaken - PC

Source: Steam
- This looks like an open world futuristic dark souls in which I'm all in for it. Hopefully it delivers good quality gameplay.
Street Fighter 6 - PC

Source: Playstation Blog
- I personally am not a great fighting game player, but this game is making me want to jump into the Street Fighter series again. The visuals are stunning, as well as the changes in everyone's appearances. Everything this game has shown looks promising enough.
Keo - PC - 4/10 - 1.9 hrs

Source: Steam
- This game is a team-based multiplayer vehicle combat game that has janky controls and dead matchmaking. The overall idea was good, but it was executed poorly. And yes, it is an early access game, but it has been for a year now.
Minion Masters - PC - 6/10 - 2 hrs

Source: Steam
- A F2P, deck-building, PvP RTS game where players face off in a 1v1 or 2v2 battle trying to reduce the HP of their opponent to zero. This game has skill-based matchmaking to make it fair towards beginners, and building a deck is actually simple. It will definitely take time to get strong cards, and I don't have time for that, which is why I'm dropping this game.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis - PC - 7/10 - 2 hrs

Source: pso2.com
- I'd say this is a great MMO; it is more action-oriented, and provides a lot of content for players. You'll be raising your battle power to take on various quests and upgrading your own gear. There is tons of stuff to do, and sadly I don't have time to play another MMO game after I just decided to stop playing Destiny 2.
Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation - PC - 6/10 - 2.3 hrs

Source: Steam
- The F2P gacha version of Dead or Alive Xtreme, which is not bad but also not good. I prefer the ones on the switch since it offers more playable games and less microtransactions.
Asphalt 9: Legends - PC - 7/10 - 6.1 hrs

Source: Steam
- A great arcade racing game, but too simple. I have played this before on my switch and spent much more time on it. The steam version of this game is quite nice, but I don't have the time to grind for the vehicles again. It's a free game and a fun one to try.

February-March 2023
(Week of February 25 - March 3)
The Plan (2013) - PC - 6/10 - 7 mins - Main

Source: Steam
- A very short experimental game where you control a housefly and guide it through its journey upward into the sky. After finishing the game, you can replay it with a Fairy Sprite this time. And, it only takes a few minutes to complete.
Atomic Heart - PC - 8/10 - 26.6 hrs - Main + Side

- Crispy critters! I have finally completed this game. Atomic Heart is set in a dystopian USSR at the cutting edge of world science. It offers a very intricate action-RPG title, with an impressive universe and atmosphere to indulge in. The overall world and humor that are encountered from time to time also adds to the quality of the game. Performance-wise this game is flawless, while running at Max graphics, i have encountered zero frame drops or stutter. The game also has so many resources to pick up which can be daunting, especially the pickup system where you literally use your left hand as a magnet. Gameplay-wise, this game has a lot of weapons to offer, as well as skills to use. There are also puzzles to be solved that are not that hard. The Russian music in this game is phenomenal, which makes the combat livelier. It also has spectacular boss fights and open-world sections where you can drive around and murder robots, collect upgrades, etc. Story-wise, I personally didn't like the ending. There are two endings to choose from where you either Stop Sechenov or not do anything. Of course, I chose the ending where I stop Sechenov in order to fight the Twins, but the plot twist after that is actually a bad one. In this ending, your hand-implanted sidekick 'Char-les' (technically your companion throughout the game) is the one actually manipulating you. And you ended up being disabled, as you see Char-les triumphing in his plans. Overall, I really did enjoy this game. It gave me a fresh experience of this genre. And with people comparing this to BioShock, I must go ahead and play that game again.
Persona 3 Portable - PC - 57.3 hrs - 100%

- I am at the point after defeating the Hermit. Chidori, a member of Strega, has been hospitalized and interrogated to learn more about her group. But Chidori doesn't want to talk, and Junpei being concerned about her, had actually made her open up a little bit. In terms of the Tartarus (dungeon), I have actually progressed quite far and have focused on completing requests, as well as leveling up.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony - PC - 33.7 hrs - Main + Side

Source: My own screenshot
- This is actually a replay. The first time I played this game was during its release back in 2017. I am currently at Chapter 4 Trial (yep, I played this game non-stop) and the mechanics of the class trials in this one are definitely the best. The exploration of the school and the cast are also all great. Kaito and Maki are my favorite among the students. I can't wait to witness the ending of this game again, since I kind of forgot it already.
Stardew Valley - PC - 8.7 hrs - Main

Source: VG247
- The most relaxing game I have ever played. I actually have this on my Nintendo already, but the PC version has so much more to offer (mods and stuff). I will probably spend most of my time playing this game, and I hope that it not hinders my backlog completions.
Vampire Survivors - Mobile - 25 mins - Main

Source: Google Play
- I am playing the mobile version of Vampire Survivors. I am not a fan of bullet hell, but this game is actually addicting. It is fun to play this game, especially when I am not on my PC desk or when I am outside. And, I can also revive myself by watching an ad just like any other mobile game lol.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - PC - 813.3 hrs - (casual, waiting for next season)
Sons of The Forest - PC - 26.7 hrs - Main + Side

Source: My own screenshot
- This is such a fun game. For this week, my friends and I have built a base near a cave. The mutants are also getting more aggressive, as well as spawning more often. We went to the top of the mountain as can be seen from the screenshot I took, and climbing the mountain was just as easy as spamming the space bar. We have also found a lot of useful tools and weapons such as a shovel, a pistol, and even a shotgun. Story-wise, this game is still in early access, so the cutscenes that play when entering certain caves are quite confusing. The addition of hotkeys is definitely a quality of life update and I hope they bring more improvements towards the gameplay and performance of the game.
Genshin Impact - PC - 781.6 hrs - (dailies, quests, events, farming)

Source: Screen Rant
- The 3.5 update came out this week. It introduced a new Archon quest, Dehya's quest, and a hangout event for Faruzan. I have played through the new Archon quest, and it revealed more secrets about the Abyss and the sibling of the traveler. I am also enjoying the new event in which characters from Sumeru visit Monstadt for the festival. It features various gameplay features such as a rhythm game, coin collection game, and a photo challenge. Overall, I am having fun with the interactions of the characters from the event, and hoping to see more of it.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Mobile - 76.5 hrs - (dailies, events)
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE - Mobile - 232.4 hrs - (dailies, events)
- I still do not have Makima after pulling 50 times. At this time, I will just accept defeat and will not even try anymore. I really am holding back on spending money on this game. Hopefully, there are better characters to come after this event.
