So I have to ask an important question to you all. As you know, Backlog Blogging has become extremely popular on this site. For me, I was inspired by LetsTalkAboutDune and GamerAim's blogs to really start creating my own blog two years ago. At the time of writing, my blog is currently the most viewed on the site nearing 30K Views and it seemed to me that aside from Dune and GamerAim, I influenced the site and forums greatly. Again, I don't want to take all the credit because there are obviously lots of talented people who helped push this idea forward and now Backlog Blogs are a common part of the site.
However, I need to admit something that's been bothering me for the past while. I've seen so many great blogs on this site that have such a strong style and knew from the beginning where they were going with it. Looking back at my blog, I had no concrete style and looking back at my older reviews and updates it's very hard to look at now considering I really found my style back in October of Last Year, when I realized my review of Tearaway: Unfolded really showcased what I wanted to do in the first place.
So I have to ask you this. Having worked on this blog for two years and having really just found a style I think is absolutely concrete, should I restart my entire blog? It's not like I'm quitting blogging, it's just that I feel the blog I have now has been a mess in terms of style and prose. I'm also not happy with some of the things I have said in the past involving games due to me writing very late at night and being tired not knowing what I'm talking about. I think I would feel better about restarting my blog from scratch, but then again, I could probably ignore the past 10 pages of my blog and just call the latest 4 pages to be where I really found my style.
What do you guys think? I think I'd feel more comfortable on restarting the blog from scratch but I need your guys opinions on the matter. And if I do restart the blog, what title would you want me to use out of these?:
The Behemoth Returns! The Autistic Gamer's Backlog Blog
The Autistic Gamer's Behemoth Backlog: Reloaded
The Autistic Gamer's Revitalized Backlog
Rebirth of The Autistic Gamer's Behemoth Backlog
Thanks again for responding! I'll make my decision in the next few days!

I think starting fresh with a new thread wouldn't do much harm. The "old era" is still there and preserved, and you could make a new journey in a consistent tone and presentation.
But as an alternative in case you wanna build on the old one instead: You could also think about making the first post of your current blog thread a sort of overview and introduction, and separate the old reviews from the new reviews by putting something like a chapter overview.
Chapter 1: The classic era. Starting at Serious Sam.
Chapter 2: The modern era. Starting at Tearaway: Unfolded (with a link to the post)
If you structure the post nicely, it could work well as a glossary/index kind of thing that would separate both your old and new logging style while still having it all in one place.
But that's just an idea off the top of my head and if that's too convoluted for you, I don't think there is any shame in just starting fresh with a new thread. Put a link to the old one in the first post of that and you still got an immediate connection.
As for the title of part 2, I like the rebirth idea.

I get where you're coming from with this question. In my case the blog posts/reviews have evolved from just the box art and a couple of sentences, to a consistent four-paragraph structure with custom graphics, multiple screenshots, etc.
I won't personally restart my blog because who's to say the evolution won't continue? I don't think the format will ever be permanently locked in place. As life goes on and my priorities shift, I might have to spend less time on them (just an example, not saying that will happen). Part of the fun of it, for me, is being able to go back and see that evolution happening and be proud of the quality I've achieved compared to when I started.
However the right answer is always "whatever works for you." If you feel the need to start over with a clear vision, by all means do so! That's why these things are so much fun. <3

I've taken both of your advice, and I edited the first post on my page. I'm actually really happy with it at the moment! I have decided that it was important to not start from scratch to showcase the blog as it was in the beginning and how it evolved. I'm starting a thing called "Seasons" with the Tearaway Unfolded Review (October 2020) being the beginning of the Pre-Season, with Season 1 starting in January of 2022. Thanks for helping me! I'm really happy with what I've done with the first post.

The edited first post looks great and is a lot of fun! I'm glad you figured out a path forward that you're happy with. May you have many years of blogging ahead. :)

Glad you found something that works for you! Can feel your enthusiasm to start again from your new first post :) As someone who jumped on the backlogging blog wagon, I appreciate those of you who started the whole thing

tbh I've been thinking of doing the same thing lately. Just starting again. And make some big changes. But I can't do that right now, It'll be in the future. I'm just not happy with how my blog has turned out

I'm a bit late, but I agree with what cock said about splitting it up by like chapters. We all change in terms of style over time and that can be a great thing. For instance, I have changed my blog approach a ton of times this year based on what I feel works best. I started out just doing reviews, and small updates, and then I moved to larger posts with multiple games on them with short summaries of my thoughts, and now I am doing a hybrid of full reviews, and occasional updates. It's good to change, and having your past available is a good thing also. Though you may look back at your stuff and think it is complete trash compared to what you do now, it is still an important part of your blogging journey. I like to go back and cringe at my old stuff from earlier this year, and to compare how I am doing now to that old stuff. It's really interesting to read from the start of a blog all the way up today also. I

I'm happy that you decided to not restart the blog and just created a new "chapter" instead. It's normal to change, one day you're more into FPS games, the other you're more into RPGs. Each game could be reviewed and commented in completely different ways, approaching different topics and using different criteria. Particularly speaking I like to see the progress, and compare what we're doing now x how it all started.
