As a casual/shovelware/experimental/small indie fan, I can relate about the underrated. However, I try to think that it is just people’s opinions, every game impact the person in a certain way, even if it is only a hype trend. Concerning bigger names that evaluate the game, they have sometimes to give high rates to not lose future opportunities with the game publisher/devs.
It does not bother me anymore, as most games that I play are not considered "gaming" for most people. For me it works better to see reviews than to see rates, since I can grasp information about the game that may make me uncomfortable.

Hello everyone!

It has been a hugee while since my last review.... It is already a new year! Oh, well...
Last year was a very good year in terms of gaming: I managed to complete 244 games (including DLCs). It was not my best year, but I managed to play really good games.

For the ongoing games of last post, I can say that I had a huge progress. Except the Treasures hundo... Let's get going go the reviews, including 2024 completions...

Heaven Dust (PC) => I really like some horror games, and this one was a mix of cuteness with zombie invasion, on a tribute to Resident Evil games. It was well done, some nice (and simple) puzzles, nice plot and some cool battles, lots of resources (so if you are afraid of resource management, you really don't have to worry that much in this game). I could not play this sooner because it did not work on my previous laptop. Now I am ready for the second one, since the first one ended on a small and curious cliffhanger.

Final Fantasy VII (PlayStation 4) => In my opinion, beyond the plot and battle system, this game did not age that well. When I play it, I really saw as an very ambitious game for the playstation 1: grandious scenarios, beautiful animations, and complex plot. However, what did not age well at all was the movement in the scenarios, even with the arrows indicating exits and where you are, it is very difficult to navigate in certain screens. It is a pity, since the game had a lot to offer in terms of exploration. But don't get me wrong, the game is good, but not as good as the hype tell it is, at least for me.

Witch on the Holy Night (PlayStation 4) => I had finished the main plot a while ago, and had to do all the extra content, that in my opinion, does not add too much to the lore. As expected from TypeMoon, the game is visually gorgeous, with vibrant colors and shades of blue. I was happy to see an TM game being officially localized, so I had to buy it day one. It is worth it, but some things is a little bit mysterious for me in the plot... Well, hope someday Fate also gets an official release, since the new version of Tsukihime will also be localized.

Wonder Boy Returns Remix (PlayStation 4) => Wonder Boy is a very difficult game originally, but this one gained a lot of quality of life, and the major one is even though you still have finite lives, you can start on the world you died, so it makes a lot less grindier. Sad thing is that we had no dinos.

Butterfly's Poison; Blood Chains (PC) => What a VN!!!!!! Spicy, with very interesting plot, and the bad endings sometimes..... Wow!!!! Only playing you can discover the mysteries surrouding our young MC in this rare Taisho era VN.

The Raven - Remastered (PlayStation 4) => This one was a real surprise for me, mainly for Episode 3. I was totally not expecting the event turns. As a point-and-click adventure, it is a pretty good game. Nice characters, nice plot with very good twists. Some parts could be a bit more polished, but it was a very good experience overall, for all three episodes.

Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic (PC) => + now maps have a little plot + maps have a weather system, that modifies where items are placed, consequently, it is easy to tell a story, since the weather works as a time passage + new assets to build your own map, including the weather and color chaning of the objects.

Grotesque Beauty - A Horror Visual Novel (PC) => I love drawn games in general, and this one was a perfect choice for my halloween marathon. It has a lot of choices that leads to several endings and beautiful drawn "CGs". The cons are since you have lots of choices, the save system have too few slots (but the skip function works well), and there is no way to track what endings you already picked. Overall, it was pretty intriguing.

Forgotten Hill: First Steps (PC) => Started with this franchise of horror/bizarre escape games. The gameplay is like Cube Escape/Rusty Lake. It is a very interesting game, with lots of fun puzzles to solve. If you like Rust Lake, I strongly recommend checking this out (it is cheap too).

Woven (PC) => Finished this cute wool world game. The game is very cute, with good exploration and lots to explore/to do. However, sometimes it is really buggy, for instance, in certain world, I had to do make a crab to carry a huge cog to my machine, but when close to the machine, it did not trigger the machine fixing scene. I later discovered that, since I had closed the game, I had to see again the initial cutescene of the crab picking the cog, even though the cog was its claws.

Glass Masquerade 3: Honeylines - Wings & Tunes (PC) => I love glass work in general, and this one was a real masterpiece of jigsaw gaming. I already loved the first two games, but this one gained something that makes it more interesting: you can customize how the pieces are cut and how the first pieces appear for you. This gives flexibility to a lot of jigsaws solving styles. Meanwhile, its art is still very gorgeous and mature.

Zniw Adventure (PC) => One day, our cute dino goes on a journey to find the perfect present for her mother's birthday. What she did not expected was to be sent on a huge adventure far from her home. It is a very cute, charming and clever point-and-click adventure. I am really hyped for the second game!!

Tunche (PC) => A very cute roguelike. Played this in coop mode, so it was really fun, since sometimes rooms are pretty hard to clear. But what I like the most is the visual identity this game has.

New York Mysteries: Power of Art (PC) => I really love this HO franchise, even though sometimes I get totally lost on what to do. This time, Laura is invited to investigate a series of cases that monsters are coming out of paintings, LITERALLY. The game, as the previous ones, are aesthetically beautiful, and totally my cup of tea: modern technology aligned with old aesthetic. A very good HOPA game.

Not It: Spookiest Edition (PC) => A short visual novel (up to 3 hours to see and unlock all CGs), in which a young woman moves to her new town in one of the worst day possible: the day that everyone goes out of town due to a curse, and that was a pretty interesting and intriguing mystery to read! The CGs complements really well the narrative style, with a mix of cute + gore, so I strongly recommend checking it out!

Buddy and Friends on Halloween (PC) => Buddy is a series of jigsaw puzzles about a little cat! This time, Buddy and his friends went out to play on Halloween. What surprised me the most is that the sequence of jigsaws told a touching story, not only trick or treat playing. This makes the series of jigsaw games cohesive. If you like jigsaw games, I strongly recommend checking Buddy games.

The Smell of Death - A Tsugunohi Tale (PC) => Tsugunohi game was another from my halloween mini marathon. This one is a bit different from the other Tsugunohi games: the others you simply walk left, and this tell us some creepy stories (and the jump scares are really funny). This one is a homage to dungeon crawler games, but without the difficulty associated with them. It is pretty creepy, with two endings, and for me it was really refreshing to play.

A Walk With Yiayia (PC) => Take a walk with your grandma. This seems like a simple concept, but it was interesting, since you get to know about her past, and how she feels nowadays. For me it was very touching.

Mr. Saitou (PC) => Rakuen is a very touching story about a little boy and her mother. In Saitou, it is a story about a boy and a middle-aged man. I'll not talk much about it, since little things can spoil both games. However, I can say that it is touching, have nice math puzzles. But if you played Rakuen, do not expect something at its emotional level.

Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express (PC) => What a gem! Beyond being a gorgeous game, the story was really well adapted and conducted. For me, deduction in this one was the best of new Microids games, and that is a lot! It is really novel too to see a cast that grandiose, and the way it was conducted along the chapters were really unexpected and cool! I strongly recommend for those that like a good mystery+adventure game.

SPOOKWARE (PC) => Spookware is a collection of microgames, and its structure is similar to Wario Ware. For now, it has three episodes, and it seems it will gain more content in the future (which I am really happy). Another pro is that they tried different formulas for the micro games, according with the episode theme, and for me it was pretty awesome! However, some of the microgames have a problem with its mechanics, mainly the FP microgames. It was hard to play it on keyboard alone, and I had to connect a controller to beat certain parts. However, the game really brings novelties to microgames, and if you like Wario Ware games, I invite you to try it out!

Saint Maker - Horror Visual Novel (PC) => I love a horror visual novel, and I was expecting a lot from this one: religion + convent + bizarre teachings. I expected it to delve into these topics and create a huge and creepy atmosphere. But oh, well, it didn't happen, at least not for me. Really liked the MCs though, and their background are relatable.

Love Colors + DLC (PC) => For me, this one is the best pixel coloring games that I have played. It has bite-sized puzzles, not only the giant ones. The main plus for me it was that I didn't need to connect a mouse to better play it, so it was pretty fun!

Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess (PC) => I was hyped for finally Rhapsody II and III being officially localizated. As the previous game, a girl goes on adventure to find true love. Even though some plot decisions are questionable, it was pretty fun to play it: revisit some locations, discover new things. For me, the best part was a chapter that approached the friendship of our cast of friends. Also, the new villains are pretty funny and clumsy, so the humor they add (and its rivalry with the old ones) is pretty interesting.

Frog's Adventure (PC) => It is a short adventure game, in which a little frog sets on adventure in order to turn back to be a non-speaking frog! It is a pretty cute adventure, with lots of friendships along the way. The highlight for me it is its visuals, a very fun hand-drawn environment that complements really well what the devs intended.

Afterdream (PC) => I love horror 2D adventure games in general, and this one was a real masterpiece for me. It starts with a young woman having strange dreams, and it is approaching it with her psychologist. Things in this game is usually bizarre, but the plot that followed touched me a lot. For me, the camera mechanic was the best of the game. It is clearly inspired by Fatal Frame, and it worked really well with a 2D environment too. It really made me want to play FF, but I am not that ready for it. I would love to see more games from the devs (Distraint devs).

Cursed Mansion (PC) => I have played this when it was on early access but did not take my time to play the final version of the game. Changed this in my Halloween marathon. the changes that were made, for sure, provided more quality to it, both in terms of exploration and plot.

Minit Fun Racer (PC) => This game is a simple "racing" game, in which our funny minit character tries to reach its final goal! But it is not that simple, you have limited time, and that it is what it makes so fun! The devs created a way of progressing with the race in a fun way, with lots of upgrades that you can buy simply collecting coins. And this gave a lot of replayability. It is fun, it is cheap, it helps with charity, so why not?

Chloé’s Requiem -encore- (PC) => This is a rpgmaker + horror game, in which a little boy runs from home after things happens in his house. But what he could not predict is that he would end on a cursed mansion! (typical troupe, but for me it is always fun when really well made). There he finds Chloe's and tries to help her find the scores to play the piano. The game has some simple puzzles, and a good plot, and a really heavy one. What I liked the most was the encore part, in which you can see the background of one of the most important characters in the game, and it was a real plus for me.

The Excavation of Hob's Barrow (PC) => It has been a while since a point-and-click game made me this hyped to play. What a gem! You start the game receiving a letter inviting you to excavate a barrow on a remote village. What can go wrong with that? You must play it to discover, things are not what it seems. Beyond being gorgeous, nostalgic, and atmospheric, it has awesome plot twists and narrative. I was really not expecting at all. I really hope someday games like this one comes out.

Noel The Mortal Fate S11, S12, SFinal Part1, SFinal Part2, S3.5 (PC) => I finally managed to finish this gem of game. It has been a while since it began being localized. You are Noel, a young pianist, that becomes involved (forcefully) into a political drama and demon summoning. It is incredible how much a dev can do with rpgmaker tool. This game is proof that great stories can be told in short episodes, even more: gameplaywise, rpgmaker can do much things. Basically, every season of this game provides a new gameplay, and adds new characters. It is a very good journey for sure, you laugh, you feel your heart being squeezed, the power of friendship... It is a very interesting game, and now that it is completely translated, I strongly recommend to all. A great end for a great game.

Mineko's Night Market (PC) => Played on gamepass, and unfortunately, the last achievements still not work for me. This game was a blast for me: collect resources, craft things, sell them in the Saturday night market, help the village grow, be happy in your new home. Beyond that, help Mineko get home! This game was really fun to do 100%, and it is incredible how something so simple in gameplay mechanics can be so cozy and warm. Pro: pet lots of cats + cute cat/dog themed crafts

Hibernation Day (PC) => a free exploration/talking game, in which a family begins its preparation to hibernate! However, as every family, they have their problems to solve, so it is your task to talk and solve them! It is really cute!

Cemetary Mary (PC) => This was a real surprise for me. It is a visual novel with multiple endings, and what a curious VN that was. It begins with Mary, a girl that loves to attend to funerals, since for her, it is a honor to care about people that have deceased. The plot revolves around the mystery of her parents’ disappearance, forcing her to live with her cousin. Also, after their disappearance, a strange number send a text message to her... Even though it is simple, I really loved how they developed the story. I was extremely curious about who the text message sender was, how he/she was involved with Mary, and what really happened with her parents. It was a ride, for sure.

Cupid Parasite (Nintendo Switch) => Dropped on my second route. I usually start with the LIs that I have less curiosity, and this time, this backfired! I really like the concept, but for me it was boring! The routes I did (Ryuki and Gil) were not that great, and it was Gil that made me give up on the game: it was a trip, and not in a good way for me.

Treehouse Riddle (PC) => A treehouse with lots of riddles to solve, in a nutshell. Discover some memories from your childhood. The pros are that most puzzles were really creative and different. However, in the bonus part of the game, the riddles are very hard in general, involving lots of thinking, and for me, use of hints. It is a good game though.

ALONE (PC) => ALONE is a short rpgmaker with a mix of horror. You get home, and mysterious things start to happen! (oh, really(?)). Even though it is a cliché, it is a very interesting game to pass the time, with several endings to get to, and they are easy to get.

Root Film (PlayStation 4) => What the hell was that ending????? Root Film is a "sequel" of the Root Letter game, with similar mechanics: talk to people, investigate locations, use Max Mode! The game is gorgeous, as Root Letter was. The plot, in my opinion, was way more interesting than Root Letter (and Root Letter has a special place in my heart), divided in chapters of the main char and another character (i won't give spoilers). It was all pretty interesting, I really wanted to discover what happened. But the ending... I don't really know how to describe it: unexpected, anti-climactic, curious, ambiguous. I really expected at least an epilogue to explain what really happened and context. However, it is pretty interesting either way.

Hira Hira Hihiru (PC) => Dated back on Taisho era, a disease that makes people who have died to came back to life, but with a great change: their corpse and mind start to root if not treated. The plot revolves about two points of views of what is this disease and how life with it can be: a young high school student and a young and specialized doctor in Aerodama (the disease). This game is really touching, even more for me, personally. It touches several problems that we currently have too: false information, no knowledge, health for selected people, social inequalities, prejudices. It also touches personal feelings. It is a great visual novel, the only con is that sometimes the font is a little hard to read, but otherwise, a great VN that will be forever in my heart.

Chippy & Noppo (PC) => Played this with my boyfriend, and for me, the concept was really cute: assemble the required items using the available pieces. But sometimes you have to manipulate them in order to complete it. However, it was not that fun in certain parts: some mechanics really are bad implemented and can hinder severely the gameplay experience, such as platforming and camera views. Also, the game would have more quality if you could see the full 3D visualization of the required item. It was fun, but sometimes it got really frustrating.

Spare Parts: Episode 2 (PC) => What a gem this VN is! This second episode brought lots of emotions for the readers: apprehension, sadness, joy, tension, anger, all beautifully packed in one VN! For those that does not know, Spare Parts is a VN about Lucy and her job at her new place. But things are not that simple. For me, the LGBTQIA+ was beautifully approached, with the several struggles that people suffer. It touched me incredibly. Episode 3 is under development, and I can't wait to see what will happens in their new path.

Puppy Cross (PC) => Puppies and nanograms, what can go wrong? In this game you solve nanograms related to dogs: houses, toys, shrubs, dogs... The best part is that you can place the items in a place and see the dogs interacting with the items!!!!!!!!! You can also pet them!!!!!!! It is incredible cute, and you can have your own dog paradise: you can place more than 100 items!!! It is a very good game.

Together We Live (PC) => A kinect visual novel about the end of the world: all is dead; however, a little girl must die for every mammal live to atone for humanity sins. How fair is that? The plot is really slow, since earth is destroyed and there is no live in sight. However, one day, a person awakes for its slumber and found that it can't move. With lots of despair, certain day, a little girl approaches this person, and in its last struggle to fight the loneliness (the person doesn’t need to eat and drink water), the person asks the little girl to carry them! But the thing is, the girl roams the world searching for death, and every death she encounters, she must suffer the same fate. It is a heavy plot theme and is carries in a very humane way: the girl starts to "learn" sadness, happiness, anger, anguish, and to true understand pain. There is a plot twist to all of this, but you'll have to read to find out. It is a very good VN.

Makoto Wakaido’s Case Files Deluxe Trilogy (PC) => This is a simple detective game: investigate, talk to people, confront them, and finally, discover what really happened. Simplicity can be very good in itself, and this game is proof of that. The game does not lack charm and can easily grab your attention. Even though it is a trilogy, it has four cases, and all of them brought surprises. I really hope developers make more games in the future.

Concealed (PC) => I really loved Ghost in the Pool VN, so when this come out, I was really excited for it. This time, the narrative is a little bit different: you are a young student at the same school of Ghost in the Pool (it has some easter eggs too), and one day, your classmate suddenly disappears. The game revolves about the mystery of her disappearance, but with several mystery points involved. You start each day talking with your classmates, discovering daily life things, and information about certain school mysteries. This way, you get too involved in the mystery, since the girl loves to eavesdrop/meddle on people lives. Even though there are several problems with its localization, the world building was really interesting: you make new friends, discover things in steps, like a student should. It was really interesting overall! And what I like the most, is that all VN is drawn, like you are reading a manga.

Breath of Fire II (Game Boy Advance) => I started playing BoF 2 in the snes, however, when I was 17h into it, my dog accidentally deleted my save file (she loaded a save state from the beginning, and I did not have another save state, so it overwrote my save). I really didn't get mad as I should... So I decided to play on GBA, since if I did not start again soon after the happening, I would probably not touch this franchise ever again. So I started, and this version of the game really had more quality of life: less grindier, less random encounters, portraits. I really enjoyed playing BoF 2, even though I really liked the backtrack of the first one more. Some characters grew on me, while others their personality were really dated. Overall, a very good experience.

The Imperial Capital Burns - Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse (PC) => And the capital really burned! Yui background was one of the most interesting things in Total Eclipse, so when this come out, I was really hyped! The story recalls Yui's past before her following her dad's steps in building and enhancing STFs. Some aspects were really unexpected for me: her comrades’ personality. In Muv-Luv we saw several people that were conscripted, but not what they really tought about it. And Yui's comrade was a clash with her Samurai's virtues. The plot tried to focus more on the daily life of the girls, to go to were everything went to hell. It was pretty interesting, since we only caught glimpses of the past in Total Eclipse, giving more meaning to what really happened. Plus: I dreamed of BETA's fearing chives.

Annie and the Art Gallery (PC) => This a very charming + horror story about Annie visiting her favorite artist's gallery. What can go wrong? (yeah, again). I really liked where the plot went, was not expecting. I am really hyped for the next game too.

Enypnion Redreamed (PC) => Obscure puzzles. I am not that proud of seeking answers to them, but they were really cryptic. The story is a mix of dream and surrealism, and it was interesting to follow.

Paper Bride 5: Two Lifetimes (PC) => The devs indeed went back to mostly no Chinese kanji meanings, but some of the hints to the puzzles were really confusing and subtle.

The Shape of Things (PC) => A very cute game about rotating, resizing and moving pieces around in order to build an object. This game is soooo cute!!!! I am really excited for the new gatcha pack! (The gatcha is only a cute thing in which you get a ball with the puzzles to solve: you can play all of the worlds, don't worry). The only con is that you can't clearly see what worlds you already played, so I picked up a ball in the gatcha, and did them.

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion (PC) => I wanted to play this before Robs a Bank come out, and what a fun game it is! Nice characters, nice quests, funny things happening! It is a pretty fun game!

Autumn Spirit (PC) => This game is a free VN about a woman trying out her hobbies, since she got health issues with her current profession. What she did not know is that her moving to a new city would bring her to find love: with a ghost. It may seem bizarre, but this VN is about losing someone, losing yourself, and regrets. The game also has two endings, both really touching. I strongly recommend for those that likes a short read, nice visuals, and depth.

Cavern of Dreams (PC) => A really cute 3D collectathon, in which a cute dragon tries to save his baby brothers. It is a homage to old 3D platformer games, and for me it was pretty fun! Figuring out what to do to save your brothers were pretty nice too. So pay attention to your environment.

And that is!

I did not review every game, but I think I covered what I wanted to discuss.

See you next time!

Hello everyone! It has been a while since my last update. These past days have been really good in terms of gaming, even more because it is spooky season! (new steam sale is coming up too!)
I’ll try to beat some things that have some horror atmosphere, but most games will only have some jump scares and more important: cute! I am not a huge fan of first-person horrors, or that are too immersive, so I’ll pick up things that are lighter.

Harmony's Odyssey (PC) This is another cute diorama-based puzzle game. However, differently from others that I have already reviewed here, this one has more types of puzzles than spot the differences. This game is pretty charming, beyond the diorama that I love, the art is really cute, the characters are lovely, and it has some pretty challenging stuff. The puzzle that I lied the most was one of rearranging the tiles to form a whole scene, and find out what funny troubles was happening. If you like something casual, cute, with a little witch and cat, you may enjoy it.
Demon’s Souls (PS3) Played on PC, since fans built up a server in order to people to play together, so as will be most of my Souls journey, I played with my boyfriend (the ones that are singleplayer, such as Lies of P, unfortunately, I can’t.) It was very interesting to see how Souls’s franchise was born. The game had some hardware limitations, but it was pretty good! It was interesting to see how the next game went further with several ideas. It was a blast, it was my favorite (Souls 3 took its place).
Tinykin (PC) I had to try it out before it leaved the gamepass, and what an awesome game. Since I usually do not search for much information, I was afraid it was pikman-like, that I did not get so well with its mechanics. I was totally wrong. You do pick up some little monsters to help you out, but you can explore in your own pace. There is a lot to see, lots of fun puzzles, and in my opinion the mechanics that it proposes was really interesting and well used. I tried to do 100% and it was lots of fun. The only thing I could not do was to pick the best medal at the “races”. The movements were too optimized. . Great game for all ages!

Dragon Quest Treasures (PC) Two words define what this game was for me: pure fanservice. It always made me glad to see (and play) DQ’s spinoff, so when it come out for switch, I was really hoping it would get a PC version. For me the wait was worth it. Seek treasures (fanservice for DQ fans), forage things to make items, recruit monsters, save the world! I wish most spin-offs come out. DQ 10 localization wheeeeeeeeeeennnnnn??????

Retro Mystery Club Vol. 1: The Ise-Shima Case (PC) I love when retro games get localized and receives some love. Adventure games will always have a dedicated space in my heart, and this could not be different. This game is inspired by Detective Famicom, but it has your own charm. This game is also a very good introduction to adventure games in general, since it limits your options of locations, and it is very easy to follow. I hope they will bring us the rest of the franchise to the west, because it was fun and charming.
Virtua Cop 1 and 2 (Saturn) Played this with my boyfriend for a gaming challenge of his. And what a good rail shooter this was! In my opinion it aged really well, even though the reload on the first one was a bit clunky, since you had to press the button two times. But the second one fixed this problem. The graphics were really charming, and it is the best part of the game for me. The second one improved greatly the first one and had some of the best moments in the rail shooter for me: police car chase scenes. It was really fun and novel. I strongly recommend for all the rail shooter fans out there!
KAMI (PC) After I lost my hard drive some years ago, it took a while for me to pick this up and beat it. It is a forward puzzle game, in which you must fill the paper with the same color. It is challenging, but the learning curve slowly guides you toward harder stuff.
The Crimson Flower that Divides: Lunar Coupling (PC) Did only two routes, one of a sadist and one of a good boy. However, even though the premise was interesting a plague without cure that kills women, they promised an independent and strong-willed MC, but due to circumstances, it is really submissive and the “bad-a**” attitude is only bark, no bite. It was a huuuugeee let down, even more because the main plot was not that explored the political stuff about researching for a cure, the cause of the plague, and all of that was not approached on the routes that I took, even though one of them the LI is the assistant of the king and is into everything that happens in the kingdom. Pick it up on a sale or buy other great otome games out there.
Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot: The London Case (PC) I love a mystery game, and this one was a pretty intense one. It all begins with a museum robbery. But don’t worry, it does not take long to escalate things. If you have played the previous game, the First Cases, you are already familiar with the game mechanic: explore and mind maps. The mind maps are maps of deductions with the different evidence and statements you collect. Link them to proceed with the plot. The mystery was pretty good, the only thing that it troubles me is that you can’t run. Sometimes you just want to get to locations faster, since I got stuck sometimes. Overall, a pretty good game. I am hyped for the Orient Express coming out this month.
Sprout Valley (PC) Played this while really sick. And it warmed my heart. I was needing something simple and straightforward, and this was a perfect fit. Plant things, harvest, forage, mine, cut trees, craft and fish. All of them really simple. It was really fun and made me want to platinum it. It is a very good fame for days that you are tired, or just want to play for a bit.
Miko no Kanata: Curious Tales from Oguni Shrine -Cycles- (PC)Do you a favor and not buy it. I played without the patch, because I only enjoy the plot, not the extra things. However, in this one, it is clear where they cut the scenes, since they are, and I was unaware, one of the main points of the game!!!! I just wanted to see some miko action, since one of the promotional CGs sold me the game… What a huuuugeee let down….. Don’t expect a good plot. What a waste of money.
Shy Cats Hidden Orchestra (PC) Find cute cats that are hidden in several locations. The interest thing about this game, and that it makes different from all those hand-drawn HO objects that are being released is that each cat plays an instrument. And in the end, they play a beautiful song. You can turn on/off some cat’s music too, and this is used to complete some little “puzzles” (one for each level), that unlocks an extra cat. It was pretty fun and challenging. I am also hyped for the Dog game that will come out.
The Last NightMary: A Lenda do Cabeca de Cuia (PC) The start of the spooky season. This is a first person adventure game (not a 3D one), in which you are a young lady that, when visit a small village in her country, discover a horrendous legend, Cabeça de Cuia (Cuia Head), and it is close to being his victim. Search the tall grasses for items and bodies to try to save herself. A pretty good, sometimes scary, adventure. The price is really good, if you want a good horror game.
Shadowgate (PC) Another game for my horror themed month. Even though this is not a scary game at all, it has some elements death, demon, curse, skeletons. I played the most recent version, with the improved graphics. It is pretty good, and a very good version to start to play adventure games. Some things are a bit confusing, for instance what the spell does, since its description is like a riddle. The in game puzzles were pretty good, and felt like a very good rpg adventure. There are several modes that increase the difficulty, such as puzzle quantity, solutions and actions you can take. This makes really easy for people that want to explore and know the game, but is afraid of dying for doing something wrong. (I’ll never forget my first death on the original one). I hope GOG and the devs release soon the game, because it seems pretty good too!
Dark Souls III + 2 DLC (PC)What a great journey that was. It was a very good ending for the Dark Souls games, even though I would still love to see the non-cannon ending of the first game being its own game. I loved most of the areas, and none of them was particularly bad in my opinion. They were hard, but not bad. Even the last DLC that had some brutal parts. Well, this became my favorite Souls, for sure. Maybe my opinion on bad design is because I played co-op, so lots of things became easier.
Ms. Director (PC) A short horror rpgmaker game, in which an actress goes to an audition in the middle of nowhere, in the mansion of the director, at night. What could go wrong? Well, lots of things. What I love the most about the game is its design, a bit noir and 30’s movie acting. It was fun to play and have five endings. I managed to pick up the good one, so I’ll not bother (for now) to pick the rest.
Hello Goodboy - PC A journey of a young boy and a dog. The game consists of fixing stuff (really simple commands) and solving some puzzles. However, each gameplay you have only four major choices, that affects the outcome for that “world”. Travel through different season, meet awesome characters and get your heart broken at the end. It is really touching and the things that it approaches are really subtle. This was good, because the atmosphere of the game is not about bad things, but seeing good things.

For the ongoing games, I am mostly playing on PC right now, too lazy to turn on consoles (I should change this soon)
Hidden Trough Times 2 (PC) => I loved the first one and its map creator. Loving the second one so far. They implemented a “weather” system, in which you can find different items in two different weathers, so it adds to the complexity of finding the objects and building your own map.
Love Colors (PC) => A kind of color the grid game. Finished the main game, and now onto the DLCs. It is very cozy when I don’t want to think too much about things.
Butterfly Poison: Blood Chains (PC) => On my way to my “full” third route (includes bad endings). Finished Shiba and Mitsuhito, into Majima, did one bad route, and now on Kyoko. I really love this game, even though the values contained in there is different from mine. It approaches the Taisho era really well, so expect lots of bigotry and some non-consensual scenes (the game does not have H).
Subway Midnight (PC) => Picked it up for my horror marathon, and well, some part did scare me xD
Dragon Quest Treasures (PC) => Trying to 100%, even though I know I’ll not do 100% of entries of spells/curiosities of bestiary. (too grindy for my taste, since there are enemies that are not easily accessible).
Woven (PC) => A cute 3D plataformer about a woven thing in a woven world. Even though the game is wooly, the gameplay is not like Yoshi’s game. Here you explore 3D locations and change your character to gain new abilities and solve simple puzzles. It is interesting, it has beautiful scenarios, but it can be a bit buggy in some parts. The controller support does not work with xinput, so I am trying to use a mouse…

Things that I want to focus and finish (already started, I start a lot of things…)
Stories of Blossom, Rhapsody II, Flying Red Barrel, Dig Dog, Paper Bride 4, Genius Greedy Mouse, DobbyxEscape: Halloween Adventures, Moonleap, Puppy Cross, The Case of the Golden Idol (DLC), Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon, Everdream Valley. I hope I finally turn on the consoles to finish some things too.

And that is, see you next time!

Yeah, since he already played the game several times, it was a very good experience. We went to fair areas, prepared for the gimmicks, but exploring was still a challenge. I like my build to be very light, so I dont give lots of damage, so we searched for the best weapon for me.
Dark Souls is amazing! I'll do other runs in the future, for sure.

It has been a while, but lots of fun gaming things happened these last two months. Let's start with some good games that were completed.

ToriDori (PC) => I am really bad at spotting the differences, even more on a 3D environment, even if things are screaming at my face. But this was really fun, first because I love the momentum that diorama styled games are appearing, and this one had some cute twists to it. First, it tries to tell a story in the dioramas, and each scenario has two variations to the things that happens. Sometimes things got really strange though. But it was a nice change of pace. What I love the most about this game is that I do not need to use a mouse to play it, and I remapped controls to be a lot easier for me to explore the dioramas. The game is cheap, you can have up to 6 hours of fun with it, depending on how bad you are at finding differences too xD

Sherlock Holmes The Awakened => What a great piece of remake! This game was really fun to play, had some nice side-quests, and it is not soo puzzle based as the original game, making more accessible go non point-and-click players. The story is creepy, based on Lovecraft stories. However, sometimes the action puzzles were a bit complicated. In one of Sherlock's hallucinations, you had to follow a correct path without falling out of it. But the trick is that it is invisible, and you can only figure it out after going to another door that leads you to a hill that you can try to memorize the path. But.... it is in a confusing angle, and you don't have the correct notion of how many steps you should take. It took me a while to pass this part, and it was the worst thing about the game. All else was really refreshing.

Muv-Luv photonflowers* => finally finished the sauce argument, and wow, it was really bad. Muv-luv was really good at slice-of-life in the first installment, however, when doing extra stories about the heroine’s routes, they really don't know how to tell a good plot. All the other extras that approached BETAs and people's struggles were pretty good.

Harmony's Odyssey (PC) => Another diorama game, but this time, they try to explore several types of puzzles. It was really nice and refreshing, with a very cute art style.

A Little to the Left: Cupboards & Drawers DLC - (PC) => What a sweet delight this DLC was. I am a huge fan of cozy games, and this one was refreshing, even though in real life I do not like to organize things. This one is focused on organizing mainly drawers and some cupboards, my favorites, since some involve organizing things in the kitchen. But what I liked the most was a certain puzzle that involves a more complex set of drawers, it was amazing and different. Overall, a very good DLC, hope for more in the future.

Murder Is Game Over: Streaming Death (PC) => This was the second installment of a series of rpgmaker games, in which you (a cop) with your faithful dog (Cleo) solve supernatural mysteries. In this one, one streamer goes to an isolated village in order to start a new, since some things happened in her life. But after involving with a mysterious group of people, the phantom of a man kills her!!!!! And it is you that must solve the case, since the local police just want to be lazy. What I like the most about this game is that you actually play with Cleo, the dog, and most of the work is her, since you *have* to use her to find new evidence, the cop just talks to people. It is a fun short game, with some chase scenes (I played on hard, and you just have to get out of the screen, it is not that terrifying). I am glad to know there will be a third game, since it is a good game to pass time.

Dark Souls: Remastered (PC) => What a pleasant experience this game was. I was always afraid of the Souls franchise, since they have horrifying monsters, dark areas, and lots of tough monsters (I really don't mind the grind and the difficulty, but they are being ugly is scary xD). However, I tried just once to feel how this game goes, just for fun, and for the sake of some adrenaline. But it grew on me, waited for a sale to play with my boyfriend, and what a smooth experience it was. It was tough, with lots of rude enemies and areas, but he made my experience easier, since he is very good at the game, letting me explore and do crazy things, while trying hist best to support my crazy moments (yeah, i usually don’t play that safe). And it was a really great experience. Let some tears drop for the dog, it just broke my heart. Really glad I tried it out, and for sure, i'll be playing other souls games in the future (currently tackling on Demon's Souls with bf.)

Pasha Planet: Reborn (PC) => It is a cute point-and-click game in which you are a little dog doing a errand for his father (obtaining mushrooms for the soup). However, it is not that easy to get the mushrooms! It is a little journey, with very clever puzzles and items usage. Graphically is a very charming game too. The only thing that I did not like very much was the peg solitaire puzzle. I am bad at this kind of puzzle, even though I try to think in recursive terms. But this one was really hard, since I had to have the final peg in a certain position, so it took a lot of time. Overall a very charming and cute game.

Venba (PC) => Venba is a short cooking game that tries to blend culture with emotions. It certainly is a touching game, but I can't truly relate to the main character, I just felt sad. Sad for his mother and father. I know it is very hard to adjust to a different culture, and I really don't know what being an immigrant is, bur for sure the side of the parent were really interesting to see.... sooo many hardships that we just realize later in life.... but that is about maturity, we just don’t value some things.

Glass Masquerade 3: Honeylines (PC) => I am a fan of work in glasses, mainly stained glasses, and this game is still very charming. I really liked that in this one you had more options on puzzle customization (it is a jigsaw, but changing how the pieces are cut, or the order that you are presented the pieces makes it really challenging). I am really in love with Glass Masquerade and hope a dlc comes out later.

Cleaning Queens => Finished this. A little bit let down since to continue playing (when you finish the bonus and main story) you have to start out again =/ I just wanted to hear the vacuum cleaner....

These were the highlights of the two months. A little bit casual, a bit of touching moments.

Now going to ongoing games:

Dig Dog => Digging the last world. Will not bother with trying to do 100% of the achievements, it is too punitive.
The Crimson Flower that Divides: Lunar Coupling => Got to my first route, things happen a bit too fast, but I enjoy the setting. However, as a suspected, the MC being strong is just a façade, with most of the time she can do nothing, just be saved by the LI. It is not bad, but I really expected a little more when they bring this kind of MC.
Dragon Quest Treasures (PC) => I was really hyped when this came out, even more when they said it would be localized. For me, this game is pure fanservice....... (and in a very good way). DQ fans (and those that are not) can enjoy a cute adventure of twins, seeking new treasures and finding purpose in life (a bit of exaggeration here xD). The dungeons have a very nice size, since you will be constantly exploring them, and always have new things to see. The system is quest based (you do not need to do everything they ask you, but some sides makes things easier). Finding treasures is always fun, since you never know what you'll find. Really enjoyable game. Not too hard, even though some portals (not required) are a bit harder.
Paper Bride 4: Bound Love (PC) => They said that they would come back to the origins, with more straightforward puzzles..... Now I get lots of Chinese character puzzles that I really can't recognize the differences or can't remember they very well....
I Love Finding Cats (PC) => from the series I love to find cute things (cats, dogs, birds, fur babies), almost finishing the main game, and hoping into the Christmas bonus
Puppy Cross (PC) => a picross type of game, but now you solve the puzzles to obtain dogs and items that they can use (yeah, you can make your little dog sanctuary)
Moonleap (PC) => On the third world. This game is really fun and challenging, but some timing sections can be really tight.
Shy Cats Hidden Orchestra (PC) => The cats have lots of talents, but they are really shy, can you find them in order to them play a beautiful song? The music really helps a lot to refresh the find the "item" kind of game. My only concern is that you need a mouse to play, just for zoom in the image.

And that is! Lots of games did not receive attention these last months, but oh well, wish my day lasted more than 24 hours.
See you next time!

Hello! It has been a while since my last post, so this post will be really loooooooooonnngggggg.........

First of all, let's start with the completed game reviews.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse Remastered - PC
This is a very interesting take on the Muv-Luv plot. Here you play as Yuuya Bridges, a STF tester, in a base that has cooperation of several countries in order to develop and enhance the machines. The national conflicts that raise from this was interesting, even more when a rebellion happens in order to turn the spotlight on how the refugees are treated in refugee camps, As in most cases of romance visual novels, the main character is terrible, arrogant, and this is always a letdown for me. The main romance plot was not that good and feels rushed. In general, it was a good game, if you have the patience for bad characters.

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Games! - Nintendo GameCube
I love WW games, and this one is not different. However, it was not what I expected. I expected new microgames, but they mostly are from the GBA version, only with graphics enhancements. But it was fun.

Threaded - PC
Threaded is a kind of link the numbers type of puzzle. In linking numbers, you form a picture. This one was very simple compared to the Puzzle World ones, even in the highest difficulty. But for me, as a fan of this type of puzzle, it was lot of fun. They also put lots of trivia between the pictures, and it was fun learning some new things.

Breath of Fire - Super Nintendo
I don't even know where to start this review. I simply loved and enjoyed this so much!! It is a very simple turn based JRPG, in which our hero sets on a journey in order to defeat the Dark Dragons and save his sister. The dungeons were straightforward, and mostly short. The beginning of the game can be a bit hard, since you only have your hero on the party, but I think they did a good job in balancing the difficulty inside dungeons, presenting lots of points of hp recovery and items. After a bit of playing this game, I convinced my boyfriend to try it out too, and we played together the rest of the game. Overall, it was a great experience, you can turn off your brain, enjoy the game, the music, the backtrack....

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles & Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles - PlayStation 3
I really enjoyed playing these games with my bf. I love lightgun games, and this had everything to be awesome. The major problem with this game is the camera, and it made total difference with the game enjoyability. In this one, it seems like they put a camera in our character, and every movement from the camera is based on that. So, expect a lot of shakes, unexpected movements, bizarre turns... This was a real shame, since when playing this kind of game, you expect that you see things like your brain process information. Overall, they adapted the plots really well, but it was a shame that the optional scenarios were only singleplayer.

Cute animal jigsaw puzzle - PC
I love casual games, and this one is a short jigsaw puzzle game. I decided to mention this game here because the art is sooooo cuuuuuteeeeee, i want moreeeee

Tad the Lost Explorer - PC
I have not watched any Tad movies, but I enjoyed the psvita game, so when this came out, it entered my radar. I love 3D plataformers, and this was a enjoyable one. However, I like to 100% things, and this was such a pain, because the game is somewhat bugged, so they disappear with lots on in level brushes. Getting to some levels are not that straightforward, so it was a challenge to have to beat certain completed levels to get to where I wanted. And the brushes were there, where you can't miss them.

Figment 2: Creed Valley - PC
I really loved the first Figment game. This one tried to innovate adding a new mechanic to the existing one, and it worked well with the plot. In this game you have a system of open/close mind, each one of them opening new paths and new dialogues. It work well, since the main plot of the game is about prioritizing, and some decisions are harder than others. However, the puzzles that uses the sockets in this game were a bit forgotten, and beyond the plot, it was one of the best things Figment had. Overall it was a very good game, with lots of fights and action.

Torneko no Daibouken: Fushigi no Dungeon - Super Nintendo
My joy and my pride. This game is hard, really hard. Tips if you want to progress on it: first focus on money until you have the option of storing some items. Next, find the belly accessory. With belly, focus on gaining xp and finding repels/blaze. Earthquakes does not kill you, keep on the grind. Find Outside scroll and use it when you will certainly die. Outside does not work when you pick the special item, so just focus on finding the stairs. Take care when dealing with the rockbombs, they may or may not explode even when you are strong, so if two of them are close, you may die. You can use herbs/elixir to increase your hp if it is already full. CRY A LOT.
Joke aside, this game is very fun, even though the grind can be hard. The sprites are so cute, they did a great job.

Dragon Quest - Nintendo Switch
Watching DQ speedruns and seeing the high encounter rate gave me the motivation to put my plan in action: play the DQs versions that I did not play. It started well with this one, they made several improvements into gameplay, and I really thought it was easier compared to older versions. One of the things that I liked the best on this was the art of the monsters and backgrounds. They were perfect! However, they ignored and made no improvements to the location’s titles, seeming like an upscale version. This made the game a bit awkward visually speaking. They improved everything, why not the tiles?

Timpu's Treasure - PC
Timpu is a free and short game about a girl that was hired to find the secret behind a treasure hunting. It was so much fun to play this game, you mostly play errand for people, while discovering their secrets. Really fun!

We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie - PC
Nananananananana nana damacy
Great remaster. I expected a little bit more from royal reverie, they were too short and not that enjoyable. I'll try to pick the cousins and the rest of the achievements.

Now into ongoing ones:

FFVII =>Getting the third huge materia. I have to play more of this game, but playing on pc is being easier for me for now.
ToriDori => Advanced some levels, but since I am bad at finding differences, I play sometimes only.
Sherlock Holmes The Awakened => On the final chapter. They did a very good job with this remake.
Wooloop - Landscapes => 60%
Muv-Luv photonflowers* => on the last scenario on the Muv-Luv one. will we fight about shoyu sauce?
Harmony's Odyssey => a cute puzzle game about a little witch, based on observing dioramas. (Did I ever mention that I love the increase of games that uses diorama? Don't know if a engine was released or not, since they mostly focus on puzzles, but I am enjoying what I am seeing)
Dig Dog => a dog digging bones. You may think about Dig Dug, but the game has some differences. Here we try to get a bone, and we can attack the monsters with a quick dig, not inflating them. We have also some upgrades that can be bought in the run, if you have the money. I am on my third world.
The Crimson Flower that Divides: Lunar Coupling => it finally come out for pc, yay! (Butterfly poison, wait for me, i am coming someday) So far I really enjoy that the MC is somewhat strong, but I think the independent trait is only a façade, since she gets bothered by ridiculous things no one wanting to approach her to court her, for instance. .
Glass Masquerade 3: Honetylines => I love jigsaw puzzles, and Glass Masquerade always offer a really good experience. The art is very charming, the cuts of the pieces are always different and make things more different and enjoyable. This game has some different modes that I must try it out (beyond normal and hard, I think it is something on the way the pieces are cut).
Cleaning Queens => casual game in which my pleasure is to listen to the vacuum sound xD On the bonus content.
The Case of the Golden Idol => this game.... it is incredible. Explore the location to piece the evidence together in order to discover what happened there. One thing is for sure, the Idol brings tragedy. The way the game is implemented was also novel for me, and it really makes you think about what is happening, where everything fits together.
Hello Goodboy => Finished my first season, this promisses soo much. Such a cute artstyle too.
Yum Yum Cookstar => I think I finished all the training sessions. I'll not get all the 100%.
Funk Unppluged => tried it out again, on my last world.
Storyteller => on chapter 5 I think.
Witch on the Holy Night => finished the main plot, now reading the extras. (Almost done, i just need to turn on the ps4)
Ghostwire: Tokyo => I am currently with 23h and picking some extra stuff.
Legendary Mosaics 3: Eagle Owl Saves the World => jumped to the third game, because the second one was too USA for me.... Now it is enjoyable again.
Cupid Parasite => on the common route.

Zniw => no progress
Dark Souls => waiting for sale

And that is :)
Some dlc are going to be released next week, so i'll also focus on them. (A Little to the left and Wooloop )

Hello! It has been a while, hope everyone is doing okay!

Played lots of good games these past three weeks (almost a month).

Beacon Pines (PC) => I loved this game sooo much! Loved the creative way to follow story branches you explore and gain new words. With some of these words you can change the path you have taken, trying to achieve the best ending. The story is sweet and it gets heavy when the plot unfoulds. It has charming artstyle, nice characters, nice music. I really wish this game structure appears again in a new game.

Scar of the Doll: A Psycho-Horror Story about the Mystery of an Older Sister (PC) => This is a remake of the original story (Scar of the Doll), and for me it was very interesting to revisit this game. The game starts with a horror+mystery vibe, but along the way it changes to a sci-fi setting. I really like this, since it is easy to blame the supernatural, so providing an explanation to what happened using other ways was interesting. But I should warn you that the game is not that complex. They also made some suggestions on the game in order to make you easily achieve the true ending. This was a plus for me, since in the original one it was a bit confusing.

A Space For The Unbound (PC) => Wow, how I loved this game. When I began this one, I did not expect the things that would unfold to happen. And it surprised me in a really good way! For those that loves a heartbreaking story + overcoming depression, I strongly recommend this. I will not talk about the game mechanic since it is a spoiler, but I thought it was original and a tribute to some games.

WarioWare: Touched! (Nintendo DS) => Finally finished this fun game. It uses really well some of the DS functions in order to you to win the microgames, and I really loved how they considered using the breath function. But this time, my favorite microgames were not the nintendo ones, since they lacked some charm.

Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo (PC) => I was really hyped when this game was annouced, and it come out to be pretty good. First, the artstyle is great and charming. Second, I really love some horror visual novels. But well, it was not that scary, but it is still worth to be played. The game starts with a young man discovering one of the curses of Honjo. The goal of the game is to collect soul dreggs in order to perform the Rite of Resurection and resurect someone you want. However, for our young man, this is will be a nightmare. The game does not focus on his perspective, but in the perspective of some of the Curse Bearers. It was really interesting, because you had to jump the storylines in order to progress in another, making a very interesting mechanic. I really liked how they focused on solving the mysteries, giving more depth to the curses. Overall it was a really charming and good visual novel, not a masterpiece though.

Diablo III: Eternal Collection (Nintendo Switch) => Played this game with my boyfriend, and we had a very good time with it. We had to raise the difficulty lots of time, since he was to OP with his customization. Sometimes the dungeons were a bit lacking in challenges and quests, and some of it overstayed their welcome. the best dungeon for me was the fortress one, beyond being really concise, the sides had depth to the lore. I also loved how you can customize your character, in both appearence and gameplay.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land (Nintendo Switch) => Finally got my desired true ending, however, I could not get 100% of this game, only 91%. Got all the gatchas, all the waddle dees, enjoyed while it last. I had played the main story with my boyfriend, and we had a great time with it. I want more kirby!!!!

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen (PC) => I don't even know what to say about this game without spoiling too much. First, it was a well deserved release. The game is well polished, they added nice features to make the battles less taxing (SRPG). My only complaint is how our main character is a womanizer, hurting a lot the fell of "love" that he develops with one of the chars. For sure I'll play the other games from the franchise. But for those that wants a good RPG, I recommend, but stayed warned, the focus is on visual novel elements, the battles only complement the plot.

Adventure Island (Game Boy) => One of my goals is to try to beat the old games that I wanted to play, since my focus is always on pc games these days. This was a blast to play. It was a nice challenge; you can try again if you lose the lives (it does not save if you reset the game). My only hatred was a certain jump in Dinosaur Land that make me so maaaaad!!!!! So precise! Notice that other jumps were also precise, but not that precise, this one was a pixel one!

And that was the best games of the month!

Now the ongoing ones:

FFVII => Finished the first disk. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, this made me sooooooo maaaaaad!!!!!!!!!!! Aerith did not deserve it, and her death was not necessary at all!!!!
Witch on the Holy Night => Beat another chapter of the game. Things are getting good!
Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse => On Chapter 15, main plot is finally starting to roll, not as good as the other muv-luv.
Threaded => Doing some puzzles everyday. This is like a connect the dots puzzle, but on a grid and each line has a amount of spaces. I was a widow of this kind of puzzle (only found on Puzzler Word).
Legendary Mosaics: The Dwarf and the Terrible Cat => I wanted to play a picross game and came across this one. Enjoying so far, since it has a composition of colors, but it can be challenging sometimes. Currently on world four.
ToriDori => a cute find the differences game on a diorama world. Love this kind of game, even though I am bad at it.
Alive Paint => a game in which you paint things, and the things gain life for a short animation. Really relaxing.
Immortality => I really don't know if I want to continue this or not.... The plot seems good, but the mechanic is confusing for me...

Started: Yum Yum Cookstar, Sherlock Holmes The Awakened and Melon Journey.

Figment 2, Zniw, Tad, Super Mario Advance, Shaman King, Super Mario 2, and Dark Souls did not have any progress.

I'll try to advance on some of these games the next month, and I'll probably start some others too. Don't know yet which ones!

And that's it! See you next time!

Hello there!
It has been a while since my last post, lots of things happened, good and bad.
The great news is that now I have a good pc, so I can finally tackle some good (and heavy in requirements) games, and it came with a game pass ultimate license.

From the ongoing games from last post, I have finished Muv-Luv, Toy Tinker Simulator, and Super Metroid. All of the three very good games.

Muv-Luv was a total surprise for me. I have watched Muv-Luv Total Eclipse, and the story of the humanity fighting their aliens foes always made me curious.
The first Muv-Luv is a very good slice-of-life game, with great heroines (appears on the other two games), all of them with their different backgrounds and inner fights. It was very fun and you could feel the character's relationship.
The second and third game is where things begin to turn worse. I'll not give much spoiler, but you will totally be taken to a ride. I really loved how the game was closed on the third game, my favorite by far. Now I am currently playing Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse, in which a new hero (a immature one and boring one) participates in a project to enhance existing TSFs. I am currently on Chapter 9, and so far it had only one BETA fight. It is expected, since the setting is on the machine building and testing, not on the frontlines.

Also finished some good things:

Dragon's Crown: played it with my boyfriend, and it was such a fun adventure. Unfortunately they push the bar on the post game content, since you have to pick again all the nine talismans in order to defeat the other two dragons. Even though it has sensual arts, most quests and arts were really nice to do. Overall I would love to play more of this kind of game.

Cooking Mama: Cookstar (PlayStation 4) => Got all the medals on the traditional recipes. It was a really fun game, hope we see more Cooking Mama in the future.

Cafe Enchante (Nintendo Switch) -> Dang, some of the routes teared my heart apart, even more the bad endings. Such sensibility. Loved how the character's affection was developed throughout the main route. Now I see I prefer longer main routes, since they really help to develop connections. Great game.

The Forest of Drizzling Rain (PC) => This was a game that I wanted to play since the announced release. I love rpgmakers/wolfmakers games, so when one with such good quality arrives, it is impossible not to play it. And wow, such a great journey it was. So many touching moments, since our heroine is lost and tries to discover herself. But things always reserves a surprise. I strongly recommend this game for those that enjoy a great narrative game.

Escape Game Collection (Android) => I love escape room games, and this one, is sooooo damn cuteeeee. I have played the Escape Game Cake (PC) and wanted to see if the devs did another games. For my surprise, yeahh!!! For those that loves a nice and cute adventure, I strongly recommend. (the game is freeee, you only have to watch one add at the end of each game or if you want hints).

WooLoop (PC) => This is kind of a relaxing game, in which you use a line to put together nice arts. It is free, and a really nice concept.

On going games:

Final Fantasy VII => with almost 20 hours already
Witch on the Holy Night => Soujirou moved already to the mansion
Dark Souls => Going to my second area, two bosses killed.
Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse => on the ninth chapter
Tad the Lost Explorer => On the library, second world
Utawarerumono: Prellude to the Fallen => Sometime after the battle of the giant armors
Zniw Adventure => On the "city" part of the game.
Figment 2: Creed Valley => On the second "feeling"
A Space for the Unbound => On the second judgement
Beacon Pines => on chapter 6 (already did some routes)
Kirby and the Forgotten Lands => cleaning up the game, trying to 100%
Everyday A Little to the Left daily delivery

Quoted Post No Longer Exists
In general, I would recommend focusing on buying a chicken and a cow. The chicken give eggs that you can put on the incubator, this save moneys. Try to understand which crop sells for more, and focus on them. If you want quick cash, pick the seeds that are fast to grow. Always pick environment items and sell them. Try to mine on rain days to sell items. In the beginning, dont focus on giving presents to people, try to buy things that can help you raise money and make things faster (tool upgrades).
