Hi all. I want to change my username and I've seen online that you have to message the user "Everdred" to change it and I have messaged them a few days ago but haven't seen a name change yet. Any other way to change name?

Replaying Super Metroid. Used to speedrun it like a year ago. Bit rusty but managing. Since it's October, what are some spooky games? I'm thinking Castlevania 4, Dracula X Chronicles and LSD Dream Simulator

Gonna wind down tomorrow with a calming playthrough of Sonic Classic Heroes. Considering getting a Retroid Pocket 2. Can it play PC, PS2 and Gamecube games? Can it also run Tachiyomi?

Just finished Chrono Trigger. That game is amazing. Is there any characters from Chrono Trigger that also appear in Chrono Cross?

Considering that there are a bunch of very obvious QoL improvements that could be made and I'm certain have been added in following titles, I refuse to believe it's the best of the franchise.

At the very least it's the best 2D metroid. Fusion kinda holds your hand too much.

I decided to go with samus returns in the end. I'm about 2 hours in so far and its a pretty solid metroidvania (obviously, it's half the name). I dunno about the others in the series yet but I'd definitely recommend going back to samus returns and giving it another go

Super is by far the best. You should get to that if you haven't yet.

Started playing Chrono Trigger for the first time a few days ago. Holy shit does it live up to it's legacy. I'm about 13 hours into the game and just about to fight the twin golems. Tried fighting them over and over again but they're real tough.

I'm about 6 hours into Metal Gear Solid. I'm at the Psycho Mantis boss fight. Is this a normal amount of time to be at the boss fight?

I've already fixed it, but ive been using retroarch for months now and it just booted up like that. I fixed it now, so it's fine

Metroidvanias are only fun on a replay, and only once you know all of the games secrets. it's fun with a guide, but is better when you know the secrets and you're trying to speedrun it.

Completed Superstar Saga twice on GBA and I remember having a great time with it.

Partners in Time is easily my favourite M&L game. Nostalgia helps with that but imo it has the second best concept of an M&L game (first being Bowser's Inside Story).

I retired a playthough of Mario and Luigi Dream Team a few weeks ago. The constant tutorials got really annoying. I just decided that it wasn't worth seeing through 'til the end, especially considering that I had played Bowser's Inside Story a week prior.

Hey all, finished Crash Bandicoot maybe an hour ago or so

Hey all, just started Crash Bandicoot today and it is really fun. Also defeated the 8 bosses in Mega Man X yesterday but can't be bothered to finish it. That and I'm pretty sure my save file got deleted

The only time I seriously felt that in Hollow Knight was during one particular boss fight. Did you happen to get to The Watcher Knights? I could never get used to their attacks, took literal weeks

I got to the Soul Master and was so deflated from that boss that I took a break from the game and then that break turned into not playing the game.

Hey also should I continue with Sonic Mania? I'm stuck at the Metal Sonic boss and it's so annoying having to replay Stardust Speedway from the beginning

Man i just couldn't finish Hollow Knight. It was just so difficult and draining and when i finally did defeat a boss, it just wasn't reqarding. But hey, good luck.
