Only two games beaten in November as i was sinking most of my gaming time into Battlefield 1 and Mad Max.

Completed:

Wolfenstein The Old Blood: A solid standalone prequel for The New Order. Fun gameplay as its predecessor, but story and level design are a bit inferior to the previous one.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3: For me this was the least fun Call of Duty campaign in COD history yet; a boring , convoluted, repetitive mess of a story. Zombie mode in coop was fun, and multiplayer is solid but having too many tech gimmicks have soured it for me. Have played almost every COD since the first one, but this one was a real disappointment on the campaign front.

Retired:
Two ps plus games on the retirees list this month:
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture: didn't click with me: too slow paced, no interaction with the world, uninteresting story, no manual save.

The Tower of Monsters: a good top down shooter with fun commentary , it became a bit tedious towards the end and my gaming time is limited it joined the retired list.

Games beaten in October for me:

Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin 9/10
I've enjoyed the game but I can see why it's usually the least favorite of the Souls community. Great combat, good story, but the environments and level design are a bit lacking.

Journey 5/10
I'm probably in the minority here but I really didn't like it. Great visuals but barely any gameplay and pretentious obscure story. Just not for me.

Mortal Kombat XL 10/10
Probably the best fighting game on current gen. Nice story mode and tons of other content and fun gameplay.

Battlefield 1 - 9/10
I'm a Battlefield fan so i'm biased here. This is the most fun I had in a Battlefield game so far; great single player campaign, and dynamic and fun multiplayer. It would have been 10/10 if not for EA server issues and expensive season pass b******t.

If this is your first playthrough you're in for a treat, one of my favorite RPGs of all time. Sad how the sequels went downhill from there.

Games beaten in September for me:

- Bloodborne (9/10)
My new all-time favorite game, great atmosphere, great combat and level design.

- Assassin's Creed Black Flag (8/10)
My least favorite Assassin Creed so far, the pirate setting doesn't click with me and the missions outside of sailing are terribly designed and boring.

- Wolfenstein The New Order (9/10)
Quite a lot of fun and a pleasant surprise of an FPS.

- Dying Light The Following Enhanced Edition (9/10).
Played the game completely in coop with a couple of friends, it was the most fun I had in a game this year.

Do you recommend playing the DLCs for DS2?
Finished the main game a couple of weeks ago and only tried the first DLC after hearing a lot that the DLCs are better than the base game, but I didn't enjoy it much so I stopped. But I had this nagging feeling that I might be missing out on the best areas of the game.

Games completed this month:

Dragon Age Inquisition: took me 110 hours with the DLCs, core game is fun but too much filler quests.
Dragon Age The Descent DLC
Dragon Age Jaws of Hakkon DLC
Dragon Age Trespasser DLC (I think this should have been included with the main game as it ties up the main story and prepares the ground for a new installment).
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare: finished the campaign and played a few hours of multiplayer, fun and very easy campaign and decent multiplayer.

I Usually play 2 games at a time , and sometimes 3, as this helps me avoid making gaming stale, but the way to keep it from becoming too much i avoid playing games of the same genre and also:
- One of the games will be a short linear game.
- The second one will be an open-world rpg type of game.
- If there's a third it'll be a multiplayer one that can be played in short bursts.

It took me more than 3 months to finish DA Origins without the DLCs (but finished almost all side quests of the main game), as I only have about 12-15 hours of gaming per week due to work and other responsibilities. That's why I never do more than one playthrough for any game at all.

Games beaten in May:
Wasteland 2.
Killzone Shadow Fall.

Since it's just two games of different genres it's hard to put best and worst of this month. I put a bit more than 70 hours in Wasteland 2 and it was enjoyable and frustrating at the same time.
Only played the single player campaign on killzone, started fun and exciting and the last 2 chapter felt a little bit boring and prolonged.
