I thought this was interesting and shows the power of Elden Ring.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has become the first ever expansion or DLC to be popular enough to hit the first page of the search results.

It is currently the 15th most popular "game" on the site.

Also, Shadow of the Erdtree is absolutely incredible. I'm about 25 hours in. The bosses are really, really good (Rellana with the parry tear was so much fun, and Messmer's setup and execution was basically perfect imo)

Also, holy fuck it's got some of the most gorgeous views in the game

Makes sense, this DLC could easily be released as a whole new game.
